awful!!!
I was not happy with my stay in this hotel. Seems that they don't care about their guests and the room was soo dusty. its the worst hotel I´ve stayed in all my travels.

Anonymous review: we don't know who you are, when you have stayed, where you have stayed. Surely you were claiming from our 3 stars budget Hotel services that we can't offer. This is not a blame for us: we are who we are. Cleanliness in our Hotel is excellent (according on 2000 reviews of people with name and surname).

Convenient but not great
Hotel close to train station. Staff friendly. Hotel clean. Large European breakfast selection. Beds were very hard and pillows hard as well. Not comfortable. A/C in room not very cold. Don’t bother with their off site restaurant. The food very generic and they served us refrigerated red wine. How can they serve refrigerated red wine?!!?!! We didn’t bother finishing the liter- very bad tasting and cold. Sad!

Dear friend the right temperature for serve red wine is between 16/18 degree. Warm red wine is good when you go skiing (if you like it). Probably our bed and pillow is not the one you use to sllep over at your home, but both are always pretty new and good quality in our Hotel.

Good hotel in good location
The hotel is clean and the staff are really helpful. The breakfast was good, no hot stuff but enough choice of the usual cereals, baked goods, meat and cheese, fruit etc. Great coffee machine! It is less than 10 minutes walk to the train station and around 20 minutes walk to the town centre. They have an off site restaurant that we didn't try and there is a shuttle bus to take you there if you wish. I would use this hotel again.

Very basic budget hotel
Friendly staff but room required some attention. It's quite dated and not very clean although clean enough not to complain. Found a half-empty bottle in fridge, dust and the odd hair in the bathroom. It's about a 15-minutes walk into the town centre, which was okay for us. Quiet area with free parking in the street. I had to turn down air conditioning over night as it was very noisy, but it kinda worked. Breakfast and room are very basic but alright for a short stay.

Excellent choice near the train station!
Spent 2 nights here with my daughter looking at the local university. Front desk staff was very helpful with directions and recommendations. They rented us bikes so we could get around the city and helped us find a laundry. Wifi was excellent, air conditioning was good, and the room had been recently upgraded.

Very good room and location
We selected this room because we wanted something close to the train station. The hotel was 4 long blocks from the station, but very walkable. The distance to the attractions was longer but accessible from the train station by bus. Having the Verona pass meant free bus service. The breakfast was very good, cold meats, hard boiled eggs and pastries that the made on site. The hotel was a moderate priced hotel that met all expectations.

Nice stop-over place in Verona
I stopped in Verona for one night to catch an opera performance. I booked this room mere hours before I arrived, and check-in went smoothly and hassle-free. The room was in great shape and everything worked well. The front desk personnel were helpful in meeting my needs, including allowing me to store my bag the next day for several hours before catching my next train. The location was a short taxi-ride to the train station, though someone with luggage on wheels could walk if needed.

Near The Station, Not Close to Heaven
Most of what I experienced at Hotel Martini was available in the reviews of other travelers posted to Hotels.com. It was the little things that would have made this hotel enjoyable as opposed to endurable. The A/C was not operational during the day, but suddenly blew at gale force around 1 am. The HUGE window in the room (4' x 4') swung inward, making it as much a bother as a salvation. No electrical outlet available at the desk. I charged some devices in the bathroom. In a region renown for meats and cheeses, we got generic in the breakfast buffet. However; the staff was pleasant and responsive. The hotel, while a bit dated and bare, felt safe. Room size was better than the norm. And you can't beat the location. Good for a one night stop-over to somewhere else.

East to get to by taxi from Airport-15 minutes and 20 Euro. Close to Railway Station-10 minute walk. Hotel great if you are travelling on by train. For visiting Verona, you would want to be in the old City, this hotel too far out to enjoy the places of interest.

Yo don't believe
Unfortunately this hotel is far from worth the money, it is a hotel for half the price paid, at least. While it is close to the railway station, is far from the city, but beyond that the attention of the staff is very poor. How can a corkscrew for 5 minutes is not given, the answer was no categorical, I had to go down to the reception with the bottle to be open, not lent despite having them in sight a couple of wine glasses, incredible. As if this were not enough, they charged me twice to my credit card, I had to claim to my bank. Enough for you ?

Waste of money - SKIP IT
Wow, what an absolute waste of money. This place knows NOTHING about customer service and was cheaper in quality than a Motel 6. Seriously skip it. Arrived in town and was able to walk to the hotel, it's a 15 minute walk. The hotel was decorated like a bad boy band from the 80s in a sun faded red with cheap gold, tan, and black furniture. The bed had a thin sheet and a thin comforter that was the thickness of a bath towel that provided NO warmth whatsoever. Technically the room had two heaters, neither of which worked despite the 50 degree F raining and cold weather outside. Couldn't sleep because it was simply too cold. The room was also noisy and was close enough to a main street to hear every siren and dog in the middle of the night. The hotel wasn't near anything of interest and was a 15 min. walk to get to the next closest attraction. I'd recommend getting something on the other side of town near Juliette's house if you can and just taking a bus or taxi. The room's phone didn't have a way to reach the front desk or any kind of local guide or internal phone numbers listing so to get WiFi or anything else you had to physically walk to the front desk down several floors and ask directly. I requested a partial refund in the morning due to the room issues and the man at the desk was a complete jerk about it and refused saying that it wasn't their fault that I was cold and that they couldn't do anything about it. The door lock didn't work properly either. YUCK!

Good value for money midrange hotel.
The room was very nice with good air conditiioning as it was very hot outside and also very quiet at night. The hotel was comfortable and the breakfast food was good, As mentioned in other reviews the coffee from the machine at breakfast is pretty awful but I found .thehot chocolate to be ok..There was a slight misunderstanding on arrivall in that the guy at recepton told us in English that we had a double bed that there had been a mistake and that we had to share a dpuble bed for the first night. We are 2 friends so I was not pleased. However, it turned out there were two single beds in the room but they had been made up as one so it was easily correctable with a couple of extra sheets. The walk into town takes about 15 mins and is not unpleasant if you take the Via Porta Pallio route. We had a view over the river tributary which was pleasant. Overall good compromise on closeness to town and price.

Clean basic hotel
The hotel had basic rooms with quite dated decor but was very clean. The room was quite small and the TV only had italian channels. The sound proofing wasn't great. We were usually woken up by the cleaners in adajcent rooms vacuuming. The hotel also didn't provide the 'do not disturb'signs for the door handle which meant we had to shout at the cleaners not to come in most mornings as they started quite early. Generally, the staff were pleasant apart from one or two - one staff member tut-tutted when my partner came into the lobby after a run because he was sweating and when we checked in we were not informed about the times of the complimentary breakfast and the location of the fitness facilities. The wifi was 5 euro for 24hrs. The wifi tended to be a bit hit and miss in the morning. The hotel is located close to the train station which made for an easy commute to and from the airport. The hotel is located about 15-20 mins walk from the Arena depending on how quickly you walk. There isn't much around the hotel (restaurants sights etc).Overall, the hotel is a budget option and if you want more comforts head to a more expensive central hotel

A cosy room. Comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Excellent buffet breakfast. Free tea & coffee anytime. A few minutes walk from the railway station. Good staff. No restaurants nearby, but not too far to walk to the old town. The area around the Arena is expensive, but 'Brek' offers very good value, also the bar next door, buy a beer & get all the freee nibbles! Great city for sightseeing..

Good Value Hotel near Train Station
Hotel well located for the train station, but a good walk from the city centre. The area is mostly residential and pleasant, but there are no food shops in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are small but have all the necessary modern amenities, some overlooking the canal. The buffet breakfast was adequate; on the whole, it was a good stay.

We stayed one night at this hotel. The room is clean. The breakfast is good. It is close to the train station; however, if you walk from/to train station, you have to walk cross a highway intersection. It is a quiet place. We had a good sleep that night.
