Very good hotel in the middle of everything. Walking distance to the tour bus stops. Couple of blocks from Temple Bar.

Nice hotel and rooms but very loudPosted Jul 15, 2017
+Hotel itself was lovely. +Staff were friendly and helpful +free drink on arrival +rooms were clean, spacious and nice, +breakfast buffet was good +pub in hotel was lovely, traditional Irish pub +with a good atmosphere and live music. +good location in the center of Dublin, close walking distance to everything. - there was a nightclub in the hotel (did not see this at booking!), so was very loud at night time. Our room was above the nightclub, so could here bass of music and people outside until about 2am even with windows closed. -was right in the middle of the nightlife district so food bars were close by, but very busy and full of people drinking at night. Overall a good hotel, but more appropriate for a particular clientele to others (e.g people wanting the nightlife rather than a family)

Average hotel; good location.Posted Jul 10, 2017
This is a good hotel for the money, but nothing special. Location is excellent. Lots of overnight noise from Temple Bar area, but that is just a function of the location, not a fault of the hotel.

Ok but not greatPosted Jul 6, 2017
In the bar/restaurant part of town, street noise ok for us but could be a problem on hot nights and lower floors. Bathroom smelled bad, room good sized but a bit grungy.

great areaPosted Jul 6, 2017
Pros: Music in Hotel of night was great
Cons: Food, reception staff not very helpful
Location: Great restaurants nearby, very good for public transport
Didn't realise there was a nightclub directly under us which with two teenage girls was extremely loud and kept them awake. Food in hotel was disappointing

Nice hotel centrally locatedPosted Jul 5, 2017
Pros: The beautifully painted exterior and it's location
Cons: Advanced warnings about deposits & the nightclub attached
Location: Located on Temple Bar, so great for all the pubs, Bars and restaurants. 20 Minute walk from Guinness Storehouse, and near other tourist spots.
The Blooms hotel is stunning on the outside, and comfortable inside. It's pretty basic but centrally located within Temple Bar, so great for people wanting to soak up the Dublin atmosphere. Breakfast is pretty decent, as are the rooms and other facilities. The Vat Bar is next door, and you get a free welcome drink (great to introduce you to Guinness). Only downsides are the 50Euro deposit you have to fork out on checking in, never known a hotel do that before, and also the fact as there is a nightclub directly below the hotel, it's really quite noisy at night time. On the whole a good hotel, ideal for exploring and having a good time, as long as you're not expecting whistles and bells and quiet surroundings.

Perfect positionPosted Jul 5, 2017
Pros: The central position and the great Hotel bar
Cons: The beds need upgrading, are least they did in my room. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars
Location: The location is perfect. Plenty of shops, bars and able to easily access all major tourist attractions from this Hotel
This Hotel is situated Right in the heart of Temple bar. We had a 2 night stay with breakfast. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very helpful. The beds could maybe warrant an upgrade. You can hear noise at night, but we are in the centre of Dublin, the loudest noise was from the seagulls. The breakfast was great, full Irish breakfast. Tea and Coffe making facilities are in all rooms. The bar attached to the Hotel was superb, with live entertainment every night. Also your complimentary voucher from Hotel reception was greatly appreciated. We also had an evening meal in the Hotel bar and this was also very good.

Did the job...Posted Jul 1, 2017
Was a great location and good price. Was worried about the reviews but room was clean and comfortable. Staff were freliemdly and a really good location. On the thursday night it was a bit noisy, more so by the large tarp on tbe side of the building that flapped in the wind. But otherwise okay!
