Wonderful hotel in a convenient location

We stayed here two times for a total of 3 nights on a vacation in Ireland. The Hilton Garden Inn Dublin Custom House was a really nice place with excellent staff and a great facility. They are currently renovating the building but that doesn't detract from the experience. The location allows for easy walking or driving around the Dublin area.

Beautiful hotel excellent location for 3arena

Hotel was beautiful excellent location for 3arena , and lovely and well presented rooms, bar lovely and breakfast next morning was great, one thing and was a bit disappointing was there was work been carried out in hotel which we all know needs to be done and there was a notice in rooms appolizing in advance for any inconvenience, I can't remember for the sure the correct time in the morning It stated....but I do know it wasn't at 8.30 am when I thought a drill was coming through the wall at us, that's the only disappointing thing I can say on visit in which it made that wee bit of feeling relaxed kind of disappointing ,but up until that a wonderful stay.

Good location and friendly staff

Excellent location away from main bars and shops but still only a short walk Made a pleasant stroll back along the Liffey after a night out Rooms clean and breakfast has plenty of choice

Construction issues.

Pros: Staff was extremely helpful.
Cons: Breakfast.
Location: Great location right on river.
Construction made the elevators slow. Staff and room were excellent. Breakfast at 13 pounds sterling was too high and only coffee and pastry were the only alternative.

Farther from downtown but good value.

In comparison to more central hotels in Dublin, the Hilton is a good value. But you do need to plan extra time (roughly 20 minutes each way) to get to the core of the city. Room had the standard ammenities, nothing extravagant.

Close to everywhere

Great hotel. Bus tours stop outside hotel. Close to where you want to be but far enough that you're not disturbed by revellers. Friendly staff and helpful. Definitely stay here again.

Two Nights in Dublin

Hotel staff very friendly we arrived early and asked that our bags be held. The staff checked to see if our room was ready and let us check in at that time. They also held our luggage at check out because our flight wasn't until 5pm. Room was updated a little on the small side but the price was great and we only use the room for sleeping anyway. Bus stop right outside the hotel and if you are coming from the airport use the express bus, it's €5 one way and worth it.

Nice quiet location

Location: Close to Paddy Wagon tours which I recommend. Right be the famine sculptures.
This was a great location. It was close enough to all the sites in the city center that we could walk but it was in a quieter area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for 3 people and the breakfast buffet was great.

Although there was scaffolding around the building during my stay, there was no noise disruption at all while I was in the room.

Great hotel but noisy room

Pros: Everything but the noisy pipes above.
Cons: The noisy pipes!
Location: Really handy to everything we were looking for. Bus stops right outside to take us to the airport.
As a group, we booked three rooms. The check in was efficient and although we were early and knew our rooms would not be ready the staff did their very best to get us in as soon as possible. The one thing we wanted was a quiet room. The room was very comfortable and we would definitely recommend and stay here again. However, out of the three rooms we have the noisiest. there seemed to be a problem with the bathroom room pipes above us and every time the person above used the bathroom the noise in our room was awful - especially at 4am!!! The rest of the stay was great though and we would try it again. The restaurant was also very good. One other small point... and all three couples commented on it.. the young man on the reception desk was anything but clean!
