Convenient location

Posted Oct 20, 2017
However, the staff put us in the wrong rooms and forgot to put in the crib we requested. The crib was broken and had to be replaced. Then we had to request sheets and blankets for the baby, as well as extra towels. The shaver outlet in the bathroom did not work. When I called and talked to two different front desk receptionists, I was told by both the outlet was only for shavers and they refused to take any action. I know for a fact the outlets can be used to charge small electronics. I did at all the other hotels we stayed at in Ireland.

Despite the construction we had a great time

Posted Oct 18, 2017
Pros: Very clean, helpful and friendly staff and good food in the restaurant.
Cons: It would be nice to be able to get a cup of coffee before the restaurant opens. The rooms were supplied with instant coffee but real coffee is better.
Location: The hotel is right on the River Liffey next to the new EPIC Museum of Irish immigration. There are also several restaurants in the Epic center as well
The hotel and staff were great the rooms were clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel is adding additional floors on the hotel so there was scaffolding and one of the elevators was being used for the construction. As we were out on tours and exploring the city there was really no problem with the construction. Expedia did make check in a bit difficult as my surname was listed as "Jr.". My first, middle and the first three letters of my last name were shown as my first name.

Only one night

Posted Oct 11, 2017
Although the hotel is in the middle of renovation the reception area was void of any of that. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed on 4th floor, there was a note letting us know that noise from renovation would be between 9am & 6:30pm which was fine. Room and bathroom was clean and bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and there was a great choice for all types of diet. Staff throughout were helpful when needed. 😁

Dublin Experience

Posted Oct 9, 2017
Pros: Clean and rooms were free from exterior noises (except for the remodel construction work, but it was tolerable).
The hotel was close to many of the attractions my wife and I wanted to see. Transportation, shops, and restaurants all within walking distance. The river Liffey was across the street and made for a very nice evening stroll. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Dublin.

Hotel is under renovation

Posted Oct 3, 2017
Location: The hotel is not in the city center, but it is only a 20 minute walk to it.
There was no air condition due to renovations. The room I had faced west and became very hot. They brought a small air conditioner, but it really couldn't keep up. Some hotel staff was very helpful and some were not. I would suggest finding another hotel until the renovations are complete.

Week next birthday trip

Posted Oct 2, 2017
Pros: Great.
Location: Right next to EPIC and Famine memorial. Easy walk to Oconnel street. Tour bus stops right outside as does 757 from airport.
Room, clean warm and spacious. Staff everyone of them went out of their way to assist. Will definately use this hotel again when back in Dublin.

Great location

We were in Dublin for 4 nights. Front desk allowed check in at 11:30 am which was great as we had arrived from NY that morning. There was construction taking place but we were there over weekend so impact was limited. Location is good with shopping and bars within 15 minutes. Would recommend

Hotel is in a great location -- walking distance to both Temple Bar area and O'Connell street, and about half way between airport and train station.

Hotel was close to river and downtown Dublin.

Posted Sep 13, 2017
Pros: Location was great.
Location: Temple Bar area is within walking distance from the hotel. Many things to do and see there. River is just across the street.
Hotel had a great location for us. Within walking distance to many sites. They are adding on new rooms so there was construction noise from 8 am until late afternoon, but it wasn't bad. Food and bar was great. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
