Charming Salzburg Hotel

Pros: Charming, great service
Cons: The air conditioner in the rooms were having trouble while we were there.
The staff were amazing and very attentive to everything we could want.

We visited Salzburg with the family and had an excellent time. All restaurants at the Sacher were great, the rooms were very comfortable and we were able to walk to all the main sights. Highly reccommend.

Great hotel with friendly staff

The hotel was very nice and a short walk from all of the sights. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone could not be nicer. Super friendly, helpful and extremely prompt.

An excellent birthday stay at the Sacher, Salzburg

Pros: The quiet, sophisticated ambience and the helpful reception staff and porters. The Zirbelzimmer restaurant.
Cons: When the renovations have finished I'm sure that the hotel will be even better. We heard no noise however during our stay.
Location: It is in a perfect location for walking into Salzburg or getting a taxi or bus to the surrounding areas.
Overall my mother and I enjoyed our stay at this prestigious hotel. The reception staff and porters were most helpful as were all the staff in the restaurants and cafe. My birthday meal in the Zirbelzimmer restaurant was delicious and beautifully presented. As a classical musician, I appreciated the absence of piped music in the building. The ambience was always quiet and elegant.

A truly luxury hotel with first class facilities, very professional staff and luxurious surroundings. We would definithey stay at this hotel on our next visit to Salzburg and highly recommend the Sacher Hotel.
