Hotel was in a good location had what it said it had staff were friendly helpful room spacious but the bed was like a rock so so uncomfortable worsed bed ive slept on in over 30 different hotel stays . Breakfast was basic but was enough to start the day.

3 night stopover in Sng

Cons: The breakfast was very limited - and it wasnt too my wifes liking due her to dietary requirements.
We spent 3 nights in Sng on our way back to NZ from Europe. We wanted a serviced apartment with cooking facilities as my wife has some special dietary requirements. The standard of the apartment and the hotel generally was excellent. Cleanliness and service was good and the staff at reception were excellent - always friendly and greeted you with a smile. I used the gym which was well equipped. We made use of the rooftop pool which was fine. It is a lap pool but suited us for cooling off and there were loungers around the pool to use for sunbathing. There seemed to be limited use of the pool by others. The location of the hotel is excellent for transport as only a short walk to the tube station, and there is a new line opening which has a station immediately outside the hotel. All in all - a good choice and would definitely stay there again .

Comfortable Hotel close to trains and bus and Eats

Pros: Comfortable and well serviced Apartment with plenty of personal space. Very good amenities and a pleasant pool and a hearty breakfast and free WiFi
Cons: My wife would like to see a better tea towel in the kitchen and a face washer in the bathroom.
Location: Great location within walking distance of the Museum and Fort Canning Park. Bras Basah MRT very handy. Chinatown and Orchard Road close by.
we chose Somerset on Bencoolen due to its amenities and proximity to Fort Canning Park and public transport. We were very happy with the Apartment and it was nice to have a cool down in the roof top pool when we returned for a rest. We had Breakfast there every morning and it was very well presented ( it met all our needs and set us up for the day). Complimentary breakfast was included in the price of our stay. We would use the free WiFi in the room to plan our day and walk to the appropriate bus or train stop (Bras Basah MRT saves a lot of walking) Because we were staying for 7 days we topped up our Ezi-link cards, we had with us from a previous visit. We had a good time and visited many interesting places

Very pleasant family stay

We had an wonderful stay , the stuff are very helpful and my children like most the swimming pools and outdoor dinning area for break fast .

excellent location

Dated hotel needs upgrade particularly of bathroom fixtures and mattresses are too firm more like hard!
