Pros: Location is good. Food and shopping directly below the hotel and easily accessible. Accessibly linked to other parts of city shopping.
Cons: Parking is not complimentary, hence it will rack up around S$25 a day. Hotel should provide complimentary. The concierge personnel was not friendly.
It was okie. We expected better from a 5-star hotel. Aircon was too cold and facilities were pretty old. But the view from the high level was beautiful.

Falls a little short of expectations, but still ok

Stayed with friends for a birthday celebration staycation. Maybe my expectations were too high or I may come across as being cheapo, but I've stayed in other places that were more generous with celebrations... the hotel gave a small container of cookies and a Toblerone as a complimentary birthday gift? Again, maybe it's just me being unreasonable. On a positive note, the refurbished room was indeed very clean and modern, it was on the 16th floor which overlooked the Padang area so you can have a lovely view of the Esplanade, Marina Bay and the CBD. Much appreciation given to the Nespresso machine and complimentary capsules. Very easy access to major shopping malls and transportation within a stone's throw. Overall, it was still an enjoyable stay with my friends. I do feel that it lacks an x-factor that will make me want to return as a customer.

room and service are good but the room design and some fixture had worn out and old. it need to do refurbish or renovation. its look old.

3rd time here. Still the best view.

Great check in, given a stunning high room with the best view. Early check in never an issue. Not going to bore you with the basics. Only negatives on this stay were "maintenance" issues. Our air con broke down in the evening and had a very uncomfortable night. It was fixed the afternoon after, but wasn't very cold for the rest of our stay. I didn't complain about it though. It made sleeping comfortable which is all that matters. We also had a 2 inch screw and attached plastic thing fall off the balcony door and in the night I was unlucky to step on it! Ouch! It was covering a very loose wire...but was stuck on with bright yellow tape. Not great. Also noticed wires hanging out above the shower. Unsafe maybe? Finally, the phone kept ringing randomly in the night at 2-4am...happened about 5 times. I ended up pulling out the wire! All of that apart, the staff were lovely as always! Great location & view which is why I stay here. I use the MRT (tube/metro) and I love that I have 3 'lines' available to me right below the hotel! Also great to go to the Food Court & coffee shops again just below your room! Overall, love this hotel, will be back again. They just need to make sure the maintenance is kept up to scratch...I think they have a very high turnaround of guests - especially with cabin crews that come and go every hour almost! I suggest some renovations are needed. Oh finally the room cleaners are wonderful. Very friendly & always willing to give you more coffee!

Had a 5 night stay , and picked it because it was central. Great location, great room. But everything was a hassle, or an extra. I had to hang around as I had a late flight , and wanted a shower Was told I couldn’t use the amenity room so told to go to the pool As my card expired , told to go through the next door hotel, told to use a lift I couldn’t use because I didn’t have a card. Sent to the wrong floor, then told to use an outdoor shower ... It was shocking service, other than the lovely lady working at the bar by the pool at 8pm sat night!! Anyway , why don’t you provide this without me having to get upset and angry And when I was let in, room full of people and the last person left the wc very dirty , but there was no brush So I left really upset , angry and disappointed IF YOU WANT TO, YOU COULD SORT THIS OUT

I simply have nothing bad to say about the hotel!

Pros: The spectacular harbour view from the room, comfortable snug-as-a-bug-in-a-rug bed, professionally helpful staffs and the convenient hotel location.
Cons: One constructive point for improvement is amelioration of the shower/bathtub/adding bidet at WC.
Location: The hotel is conveniently located at several shopping malls and eateries.
I had such a wonderful time staying at the hotel. While I wanted to explore the city, I was also in dillemma whether or not to leave the hotel and my wonderful room. The spectacular harbour view from the room, comfortable snug-as-a-bug-in-a-rug bed, professionally helpful staffs and the convenient hotel location to several shopping malls/eateries are simply meritorious. One constructive point for improvement is amelioration of the shower/bathtub/adding bidet at WC.

Cons: The shower did not drain well in the sense the water built up on the lip of the tube and ran off onto the floor.
Location: Location is perfect. Central to the CBD and shopping. Don't even have to go outdoors to get to the metro and two malls.
Just a quick trip through Singapore and decided to stay at a familiar hotel (last stayed in 1991). It was nice to see that the quality has remained consistent and that the hotel is renovating the rooms. Very comfortable hotel to stay in.

Amazing hotel with stunning views

I had an amazing experience staying in this hotel their staff is so helpful room amenities were so good view from balcony was perfect only thing which they need to improve is WiFi in the room it’s very slow you can’t watch anything or talk on skype apart from that everything was perfect. Will definitely come back again and recommend this.
