"Just returned from another wonderful stay at the Newstead. Our favourite hotel for ease of travelling around without hiring our own transport but using busses and ferries with the help of the hotel water shuttle which is a great service but shame it doesn't run all day. The shuttle service to the beach and Divots/Blu restaurants are very handy also. Staff are always very willing to take you. The infinity pool is wonderful but can be taken over by families and children at times. A shower by the pool would be a real bonus. The grounds are very well maintained and the whole hotel inside and out very clean. We will definitely be back!"

"Not a 5\* hotel but it was everything it advertised and thus gave it 5\*. I was not disappointed. It’s an older hotel that’s been updated. I was happy with the room. Great ocean view and left balcony doors open for the breeze. Ate at the restaurant for lunch, good. Used the beach, lovely. Walked to nearby grocery store, handy. Used the Bermuda college gym beside the hotel (small and dated but had all the weight equipment I needed). There are bus stops in walking distance. Taxis in to town were quick and under $20\. "Wonderful stay. Suzi is the best host we've ever had. The room was perfect, with a beautiful bathroom and a well appointed kitchenette, we weren't wanting for anything. The pool is an added bonus. Although a little chilly for March, we still managed a couple dips. Having a private beach made for some lovely evening strolls. But the absolute best feature was Oggie. It's always hard to leave after a great vacation, but those sweet eyes made this goodbye extra hard. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"Our room included a mini fridge and microwave, which was convenient. I chose this property because Expedia indicated that breakfast was available for a fee; however, this was somewhat misleading. The “breakfast” option consists of the staff purchasing a simple selection on your behalf, and marking up the price for their time spent. It’s much more cost-effective to purchase these items yourself. On a positive note, the property is conveniently located near downtown Hamilton, as well as the ferry and bus terminals, making it easy to get around. The host is super responsive via txt. "
