Great location. Slightly dated.Posted Jan 19, 2018
The location if this hotel is great for those wanting to base themselves in central London. Just 2 minutes walk from Bond Street underground and 5 from Oxford Circus underground station. You are welcomed into the hotel by really friendly and helpful staff. I arrived slightly too early to check in so they let me store my bag while I went to explore the area. The reception and bar areas have a very modern feel and the hotel has a great range of facilities. My room although very clean and comfy was very dated and in dire need of a refresh. Paint coming off the walls, decor missing and holes in the carpet. Despite this the bed was very comfortable with a range of pillows available to use and the bathroom was a lot more modern that the rest of the room. The room had a tv, safe and mini fridge and plenty of hangers. I didn't take up the breakfast option in the hotel as I feel with its location there are much better value options just a short walk away. I would stay here again as the location is great, however I just hope they're about to start a refresh of the room decor.

The main entrance is nice and modern, however the rest of the hotel once you go into the rooms is an a tired state. just needs a make over!

Overall, the Holiday Inn is a great hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I would highlight (particularly for light sleepers) is that the walls are very thin. The room next to me was not particularly loud, but having conversations at a normal level, I could hear all of it and was woken up when they arrived in each evening.
AwfulPosted Dec 4, 2017 on Hotels
Very disappointed, it was awful - service dreadful, no food available after an evening meeting. was offered a take away but would be 40 mins minimum and had to pay cash. Concierge thought it was funny!. Room small and cramped, needs a good refurb. won't be returning.......expensive hotel which was not matched by the service.....

2 things that ruin my vacation, among a lot of little things. My wife came to the room to change for supper (around 17:00), the cleaning lady was in the room and didn't get out, just stayed there and watched her, it was imberesing/ I asked to reserve a table to the family for breakfast, they say thats ok but when we came there was no table for us

Hotel close to Our Meeting Venue.Posted Nov 11, 2017 on Ebookers
Pros: Lovely staff - very helpful.
Cons: The hotel needs an upgrade & some maintenance work.
Location: We came down for a Conference on Pancreatic Cancer held at the Cavendish Conference Centre which was very close to the hotel.
Our room was clean but had a badly fitted/possibly warped entrance door which did not close properly. Consequently our TV, although turned low, offended our neighbour who shouted at us to "turn it down". We also had a similar problem with the bathroom door not closing easily.
Nice midweek breakPosted Nov 8, 2017 on Hotels
Lovely hotel a little dated, very nice breakfast and excellent service by all the staff. We would come again, very central for shopping dining and theatre.
