ColdPosted Feb 5, 2018
The hotel is in a superb location and worth staying at just for that. However the room I was assigned was freezing cold - and the room heating didn’t work. Eventually housekeeping provided a small heater and some blankets - but even then it was hard to stay warm.

Great location, disappointing hotel experience.Posted Jan 21, 2018
Pros: The Foyer
Cons: Toilet areas within the coomunal areas not clean. Bedrooms upgraded. The food in breakfast room should be warm and this was not the case.
Location: The location excellent, lots to do in and around Piccadilly. Close proximity to many London attractions,Trafalgur Sq, Covent Garden, Oxford Street
We have stayed in this hotel previously, in 2013 and looked forward to a return visit. Foyer a very welcoming experience, but service and standard went downhill from here. We had a Club Room with access to Club Lounge. This was nothing more than coffee and a few crisps left out. In the evening food on offer was of very low standard and seemed to be reheated. The room was very large but extremely tired. Two very small bathrooms with tiles very uneven in one bathroom. This was a trip hazard. Bath stained in alternative bathroom. When we went to breakfast our breakfast was extremely cold and we were told by the waitress that we should have ‘dug down deeper in dishes to get warmer food.’ In the end we were offered alternative food prepared by chef. This was not much warmer but didn’t think it was worth highlighting this again as staff seemed to be busy doing other duties and guests were not their priority. Extremely disappointing and not to the standard of our previous visit over four years ago. And most certainly not close to the high standard of hotels within the chain in other parts of the world. Much better hotels with higher quality also available in London for lower or similar price. Would not recommend.

Your perfect place to stay in LondonPosted Jan 16, 2018
I had a great experience at this hotel and recommend it for value, location, staff friendliness and efficiency - just a really good stay. I will definitely make this my hotel of choice in London. Front desk staff were very polite, efficient and friendly and absolutely willing to help; concierge very efficient and present; my room was one of the really spacious ones so i have only good things to say about that. Warmth and hospitality felt the minute I entered the front door. And needless-to-say, the location (especially for night life and theater) is impeccable. Delightfully surprised - I will be back. Thanks to all the staff for taking care of me and even sending up a birthday treat.

Nice hotel could do with some refurbishmentPosted Dec 31, 2017
Pros: Situation close to theatres and restaurants.
Cons: Service in the restaurant at breakfast time. Lovely conservatory spoiled by lack of attention from staff. Refurbishment needed.
Location: Excellent location in picadilly close to all amenities.
Very nice hotel in excellent position in London. Ideal for theatres and restaurants. Have been coming here for a few years now and I must admit rooms need a bit of refurbishment. Bath rusty around taps woodwork chipped on skirting. Staff very helpful on reception but poor in the restaurant at breakfast time.

Paying for location!!Posted Dec 6, 2017 on Hotels
Lovely lobby with excellent staff. Attended dinner dance for husband's company. The food was very good and the service - and for a large number of people. However the room, although large, was in need of refurbishment some time ago. A ridiculous price to pay for the condition of the room. However the company was paying the £369!!! No breakfast included in this price!!!

Reception staff were not very attentive. We had problems with the temperature of the room, it was very hot when we entered and the air conditioning was too noisy to leave on all night so we had a poor nights sleep due to the heat. The room was positioned looking out onto the dining room and it sounded as though they were moving furniture in there at 6 in the morning. When we went to breakfast we had to ask whether it was self service.

Perfect for familiesPosted Nov 26, 2017
We stayed for 4 nights with 2 teenage children. It was our first time in London. Room was 2 Queen beds and had ample space. Breakfast was excellent as were service staff. Definitely get breakfast included if you can. 15 minute walk to Buckingham Palace, 2 minutes to Piccadilly Circus and subway. Plenty of pubs and chain restaurants in the surrounding blocks as well as a Tesco for convenience items and snacks. Hop on Hop off sightseeing bus stop at Piccadilly Circus as well.
