Overpriced, underperforming clean hotel near EZE
Posted Apr 17, 2016 on Hotels
We wanted a hotel close to the airport because we were transferring through Buenos Aires back on our way to the states with a connecting flight that left late the next day. First off, ignore the booking information about what's nearby. There is nothing nearby. Except a Shell station that closes early.
The staff was mediocre and not very helpful. For instance, when we asked where the restaurant in the hotel was he told us to go outside and take a left. That was it. It wasn't nearly so simple or so close. Not sure how far we would have had to walk outside to get there as we had to go back in the hotel and ask someone else. They walked us through the hotel to the restaurant, so maybe the staff helpfulness was about 50%.
For what you get, this hotel is very expensive. Everything is ala carte, except the airport shuttle. You want to use the gym ? 200 pesos. Breakfast 250 pesos. It seems to me that for the price of the hotel that should not be the case. The WiFi was un-useable. On any device. All our devices would get disconnected every couple minutes.
But if you're looking for an American brand overpriced hotel chain that's close to the airport, this will be right up your alley.
