Pool was great. Restaurant was good, service and food wise. The bartender Juan Carlos was amazing. The bed was super comfortable with a good size bathroom. There is a good size store around the corner within walking distance with some good restaurants and a place to exchange money. Great big duck pond across the street with a giraffe and an ostrich.
The front desk service wasn't exactly friendly or bilingual. Fortunately my husband I are both fluent( we went for immigration needs). Although our room was always cleaned well, it sometimes took them a while to get to our room and we'd feel rushed to leave. It is not exactly within walking distance of consulate, a taxi can take you for about 80 pesos though. The hotel over all is great, but make sure you are very clear about payment and how many nights.
