"Hotel exterior was deceiving. Convenient to airport and Metro to other areas of Madrid. Interior was attractive and modern. Rooms were somewhat dated, but very large in comparison to typical European style, clean and comfortable. Bed was firm. Restaurant food was good quality for the $$$. "

"My husband and I stayed at this hotel in April. The hotel is located in the Barrio Castellana which is a couple miles north of the Prado Museum. We are walkers and didn’t mind walking everywhere. Taxis are stationed at the hotel curb so finding one is no problem. This is a very safe and upscale neighborhood. The breakfast is outstanding with a wide selection of hot and cold foods. I can’t stress enough how clean and up to date our room and the facilities were. The bed was the right firmness for us and there was a pillow menu if you need a different pillow. Our room was on the second floor over looking a small street. There was construction noise throughout the night which woke us up just a few times. Still, we enjoyed our stay there. The staff was very friendly and gracious."
