Comfortable and relaxing

It was very comfortable and within walking distance from the Town Centre. Only one problem was that the restaurant was not open on Sunday.

Stayed one night on our way to Santander, free car park will test your driving. Good tapas bars.

Mediocre at best

Posted Jun 25, 2014 on Hotels
The staff was very nice (except the woman running the breakfast!). The hotel was easy to find and was centrally located for a quick, overnight stay. The rooms were bland, with uncomfortable beds (although it was nice to have a king sized bed for a change in Spain!). It was a mediocre hotel that served its purpose for our family for a 1 night stay.

Good location for walking to the centre of town

Posted Apr 23, 2013
Pros: Good breakfast & not expensive
Location: Easy to walk into the centre of the town, but on the other side of town from train station (was about 8 Euro taxi fare)
Room was clean, beds were comfy. Breakfast was plentiful although the wifi signal that was freely available in the bedroom didn't seem to extend to the breakfast room (which was a bit dark given lack of windows). We used the pool both mornings we were there and were the only people so very relaxing for an early swim (not very warm) - you need to leave the shower beside the pool running for a long time for it to warm up. Lifts were a bit slow & small but otherwise no problems.

Ideal hotel to explore Ciudad Real

Posted Oct 20, 2012 on Hotels
This hotel was rated 4 star but was less expensive than other 3 star hotels on our trip. Nice comfortable room and strong wifi. Also free underground secure garage though tight for a large car. Very easy to walk round city and close to Plaza Mayor. Only downside was the restaurant had been booked for a function, and there was no provision for hotel guests. Reception happy to recommend an alternative.
