B B Dimora Alibrandi was a bit of a disaster. Just connecting with a person to open the place was extremely difficult and ultimately depended on the help of the next-door shopkeeper making phone calls. Inside, we found a live bug -not a bedbug but bad enough - in the bed! Until the wee hours, street noise through the single-pane windows was considerable. The bathroom was of the dubious kind with poor drainage and a soapdish and toilet paper holder lying around, unattached. Breakfast minimal. Location fine. The rest, to be avoided. Thank goodness we were headed for a cruise ship the next day.

Stayed for 1 night prior to a cruise. Yes it’s an old building and furnishings etc are a little dated but in keeping with the age of the property. This all adds to its character. Room was vey clean and quiet.. staff were excellent and welcoming and arranged transport to the port the following morning…would absolutely stay there again.

Alibrandi hotel was ideal to stay for two nights before we went on our cruise due to location. Gigi’s bar had friendly staff for breakfast and/or a drink in the evening. It’s an older Italian building and has kept its character. Could do with a lift to get cases up and down the stairs and door locks were difficult at first but we got used to it. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Property is awful. No one there and it was locked Our driver called and we waited for 30 minutes and no one showed up there is no front desk we saw inside when 2 people opened door to leave. Inside walls were peeling. The representative lied about someone being there. We had to call and stay at another property Totally unacceptable

No elevator and stairs which is a problem with luggage. No amenities - no shampoo or even soap in bath. No one on staff. They let you in and you’re on your own! Having said that, location was excellent, right across the street from the cruise port.

It is an okay place to stay for just one night. Building is old but that's to be expected. We arrived 2 hours earlier than check-in time but had no problem getting the staff to meet us to let us into our room. There is no STAFF on-site but they gave us a telephone number to call....good luck with that if you have no way to call them. No elevator so you will have to drag your luggage up 2 fights (27 steps) to your room. It took us a little while to figure out how to get out of the building! Definitely not your normal door & lock like in the U.S.  Be sure to ask the staff to show you how to open the 2 main doors from the inside!!! The room could use some fresh paint but at least it is clean and no dust. The mattress is hard but there are nice soft pillows and clean sheets. Our room was next to the pedestrian only walkway so it was a bit noisy till late at night. We were too tired from our flights so that wasn't a problem. Breakfast is not in the main dining area as pictured on the Expedia website but they gave us a handwritten note on a card for free breakfast at the Bar/Cafe next door, good for a pastery and coffee.

answering an anonymous review without text is not easy but I imagine that the author is Daniel, that lovely guest who, without showing up at the B & B sent a message saying that no one answered the intercom, that he was in front of the door etc. etc... It was 05 pm, I was at the B & B with other guests talking in the breakfast room. The reservation was a LAST MINUTE - NON REFUNDABLE: just ask if it was possible to cancel the reservation without paying any penalty instead of putting 1

boutique hotel. friendly staff. no lift but they carry your bags up and then down. excellent for the money we paid! central to everything, walking distance to the train, plus we also walked to the port to board the cruise ship. Room was terrific!!

Live like a count for few days b4 cruise
Alessandra was terrific and was very helpful in arranging taxis and luggage handling. Property is 200 yr old manor house in downtown one block from sea promonade. Owner in 1800 worked for Vatican. 6 bedroom second floor have 12/14 foot cielings, antique funiture, mable floors. Lose urself like ur living in 1800 but with 2020 modern bathrooms!! Great hot water and pressure! Hurricane impact widows cut town noise to minimum from city street below. Perfect location to walk everywhere including train station. €9 train/bus/ subway ticket for 24hrs Rome. Lovely hotel felt like home after on day. Go to Maa Resturant to top of stairs above McDonalds say hi to Swann, our great server and now friend. Whole 6 block area very helpful, friendly and as breautiful seaport u can't take enough pictures. The property very clean. No smoking except one room off hallway with zero impact to guests from my opinion.

This was such a beautiful place and our room had the only wrap around balcony! It was super reasonably priced for $70 euros a night with complimentary breakfast!

The location is perfect. It is located right on the promenade with it's stores and restaurants. It is within easy walking distance to the cruise ship terminal. The hotel is very secure with a code to enter the building, a key to the floor and another key to your room. The rooms are large with a large clean bathroom as well. The building is quiet and accomodating. We are very happy to have stayed in the Alibrandi Palace.

Alibrandi Palace
This is a nice place to stay for the evening prior to your cruise. It is a little hard to find as it is in the middle of the block. They do not have an elevator but the employees will help you with your luggage. The people at this hotel are very nice and will assist you in any way you need. Breakfast is continental style but very good. You can walk to any of the local restaurants and they will make arrangements for a shuttle bus to the cruise port.

Quaint, adorable place. Loved our stay and the staff. Close proximity to the waterfront. Unfortunately a bit loud but considering the closeness to the waterfront and right on the mains street it was not a surprise. Would stay again!
