crew drop pad, only a place for tired rig crews to

Pros: close to the shop
Cons: burn it down and start over
Location: nothing, stay away
bed folded around you you can hear the adjacent rooms brush their teeth, pee, pound the comfort woman Husky truck stop is breakfast, almost edible, went to A&W on day 2 grimy floors, carpet, 70's furnature felt like I needed to wash after standing in the room post a shower

Clean, comfortable hotel

Pros: I was very impressed by their included breakfast. From 6-9am there is a full Buffett and after 9 am all day, you have a choice of 3 full breakfasts.
Cons: They could put on two cooks and a few more waitresses in the early morning thru the breakfast rush. It was very busy. Some long wait times.
Location: Great location, right off the Hiway. Within a few minutes drive to both Grande Prairie and Clairmont.
I was staying at the Ramada in Clairmont, while attending a family funeral in Grande Prairie. There were 3 of us the first two nights and I had to stay for a few extra nights myself. They put the 3 of us in a double , smoking room as they had no non smoking rooms at the time. It was not bad for a smoking room. (The smell) The hotel is still new and the rooms aren't too bad yet. We stayed the two nights and when my daughter and her boyfriend left, the hotel moved me into a single king bed, non smoking room. Both rooms were very clean, comfortable beds and fairly quiet. I was happy with the accommodations.

Pros: Nothing stands out.
Location: There are train tracks beside the hotel. Expect a train at some point. No much close to this one.
Only stayed one night. It was fine. Good breakfast too.

May I suggest that the next time you stay that you ask to stay on the highway side of the hotel as I am sure you will find this to be a much quieter stay. One Night Stay

Pros: Newer hotel - still in good shape,price was reasonable, rooms were nice.
Cons: Breakfast at the Husky was disappointing, had to ask for some fresh pancakes for the buffet, scrabble eggs had been sitting for a while and dried out.
Location: Have to drive to everywhere - ok for us but outside of town if you were looking do walk to things in Grande Prairie
Room was great - clean and comforatable and price was reasonable. It must be tough to keep lobby and hallways clean with mud coming in from workers.

As for the mud issue, with it being warm one day and then wet and snowy the next it is wreaking havic on muddy conditions, I will address this with the clean team to see what we can do to improve these conditions.

Comfortable relaxing stay

Cons: Though totally understandable due to time of year, lots of mud in the lobby at most times.
Location: Not much in the immediate area, though the gas station on the corner has a Panago and Quiznos, and liquor store. A&W also nearby.
Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice amenities. Wide range of TV channels. Excellent breakfast in the morning. And can use coupons for breakfast all day. Speedy service in the restaurant and everything was fresh. Had supper too one night and it was tasty too. Location is out of town, and lots of mud from in and around hotel. But excellent value for the price.

Would you like to share my smoke?

Hotel is fine staff are friendly. I will never understand why some businesses let groups of smokers greet all new visitors at the front door. Would not go back for this reason.

As there is a 5 meter from any entrance way policy for smoking we do our best to try and enforce this rule. I will make sure that we are going over this once again with our staff and ensuring that this policy is followed so that it does not impact any of our guests again. Easy to get out of town quickly -

Pros: Easy to get out of town Great beds Got a great price Great breakfast
Cons: Noisy - but we had the fan running, so it didn't bother us too much
Location: Not much to do nearby, in the middle of an industrial area, but a quick trip into town
In town to visit family who live just east of town. This hotel was a quick trip into town, but we could also avoid going through the city if we wanted as we were right on the highway. Great breakfast (all day too).

Clean with great service

Great service. They had a free pizza/beer night when I arrived because they showed their customer appreciation. The room was quiet and clean. The lounge was friendly and restaurant was great free breakfast was a voucher that could be used all day. I thought that was awesome.
