The room was clean enough, but the hallways smelled like people had been smoking in them, some low class and sketchy people using the facilities, they lock the doors at night to protect clientele, which tells you how bad the crime is. My main complaint was with management. Due to work I overstated the check out time by three hours. They insisted on charging me an extra day at the maximum amount they possibly could. Refused to make an arrangement for half of the extra charge if I came back another time. They wanted me to book it right then, but I was not sure of my return trip. All in all, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I'll never go back.

I am sorry to hear that you were not happy about your stay, general practice at any hotel is to charge for anything later then 1pm checkout. We do lock our doors at night not only for the safety of our guests but it is also for the safety for our staff, we do find that a lot of our guests do appreciate this. I will talk to my front desk staff at better practices to charging guests on late checkouts and would be happy to look at your stay if you would like to give me a call at the hotel.
