One night stay at the Comfort Inn

The room was very clean, but the mattress was terrible.......too mushy. The gals at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

Very good for the price.

Pros: The jetted tub was nice.
Cons: The tub could have been cleaner. It felt a little gritty.
Location: It's near the highway, but you can't hear it. Beautiful Cook Forest is only 20 minutes away.
I didn't expect or pay for a 5-star hotel. The room met my needs plus. I'd give it a 3.5.

Stayed for Travel Stop

We're used to getting the more shabby rooms in a hotel when we travel, because we travel with dogs. Our dogs are very well-behaved, but we get that hotels expect messes from pets. But we were very happily surprised by this hotel. Our room was great! Super comfortable bed, sleeper couch, very clean...even extra pillows in our room (which seems a rarity these days). The topper was the jacuzzi bathtub in the room. We had been on an exhausting travel route for a family emergency, and we were able to finally relax and get a really good night's rest in this room. The access to Route 80 is great, the price was great, and we're definitely going to stay again on our next trip out to family. The only downside I can think of is the desk clerk seemed to have a little bit of an attitude. But with the rest of the upsides of this hotel, we don't even care. We're booking again!

My staff works very hard to make sure our guests are happy and comfortable, from the housekeepers, breakfast attendant, maintenance, and front desk. I am however, very sorry that one of my front desk staff seemed to have had an attitude. I do intend on speaking to her, she is the newest hire and I want her to be as good as my other guest service agents, who have been here awhile. This is great place off I80 if someone wants to have nice, clean and comfortable stay. Perfect served my purpose and cost was reasonable. Only request to hotel is to make breakfast area more spacious as it can get crowded very easily.

Room was perfect except that when I got into the bed, something smelled as though Febreze had been sprayed on the pillows or bedding. I couldn't quite figure out exactly where it was coming from, but I am sensitive to perfumes, and hate the smell of Febreze. Always makes me wonder if corners were cut when the rooms are cleaned.

We have been in the process of Spring cleaning all of our rooms and they do smell very fresh and a little perfumey from the cleaning concentration we use. Clean, comfortable and great value for the price!

Booked this Comfort Inn on price and reviews in Hotels.com and was not disappointed. This was an intermediate stop during awful winter weather travel and we were very satisfied with a comfortable stay and a very nice breakfast. This was great value for the price, and was close to food, fuel and interstate. I would actually rate this as a 3-Star and would definitely stay here again.
