Nothing to do, but updated hotel w/nice restaurant

The room was comfy, room service was timely and flexible, staff were very nice. But maid service knocked on our door at 8:00am with the "do not disturb" flag up on the dirt handle. They didn't do it the next day, though- thankfully. The shower had obvious mold staining in the corners at the bottom of the shower. The hair dryer didn't work. And thier is little to do but play golf at the next door golf course.

Nice hotel crappy restaurant inside

Our room was right next to the pool, so the kids were very happy. It was a nice, oddly shaped pool but it was heated. You did freeze once you got out of the water due to it not being heated but from what we were told that is being worked on. The hotel staff was great no complaints about them. The restaurants staff however were very rude and disrespectful not to mention the lack of ability to make Mac and cheese. We would gladly stay at the hotel again but we will not eat there at rbg its a good thing there are many great restaurants in the area to choose from.

Second time wasn't a charm!

Pros: Staff was friendly.
Cons: Put all animals in one wing away from those who don't have them
Location: Clarion, so not much is there!
I stayed here over Xmas since I had a nice experience there back in Sept. Well I don't know if there were more people in the hotel due to the holiday but it was so loud in my room. I could hear people walking, dogs barking until all hours of the night. You are allowed to have pets. I love pets, but the owners should be controlling their barking or they need to be on a certain wing of the hotel. I will spend the extra to stay at another hotel next Christmas. There is a bar, but it closes at 9pm or 10pm so that's lame. The staff was nice, but you can tell the hotel has been warn even with the new updates. The beds aren't that great either.

if you are going to stay there~ be sure to ask specifically for a renovated room. the other rooms are awful. No free breakfast.

Aside from being a standard hotel, it does have a pool and that's the most important part. And it's a great interior pool. Well won't it.
