The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city near Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, and a short walk to Times Square. It is an ideal spot for walking to major attractions or catching a subway anywhere in the city. Our room was consistently cleaned on a daily basis, and the housekeeping staff did a good job. The reception desk staff were friendly, professional, and attentive to any concerns we had. However, be aware that the hotel is "old school" and you have to pay for basic amenities, including a fee to store bags after checkout. Despite this, the convenience and safety, especially with security at the elevators, make it a great option." There was black hair all over our bed and then when we called the front desk to bring up new sheets, they brought us the sheets and there was MORE black hair on the “Clean sheets” Also the blanket on the bed is basically like a sheet, it’s very thin. The elevator is spooky as well. It is tiny and it is loud and the door doesn’t open until you push the door open button. Will not be staying here again.
