Great stay! Big room for a small price. The hotel is only a 5 minute drive from Louisville.

Good hotel

We've stayed here many times. Rooms have always been comfortable and clean. This was our first stay under the new Radisson name. No real changes except higher rates. Will continue to stay here but only if we can snag a good room rate.

Ironman 2017 stay

Pros: lots of indoor things to do. barber shop, bar, indoor pool (very clean and warm), lots of nice lounge areas, nice computer area to use.
Cons: mark your lot better for the back parking. they tell you back by the tennis courts and they cannot be seen at night for incoming new people
Location: lots of great restaurants down by the river front on both sides Indiana and ky. waterpark, dinner theater, small lake & walk path nearby.
This is a very close proximity hotel to the Ironman in downtown Louisville ky without all the bustle of downtown. very easy to just come across second street bridge and go right to the riverfront for the race. Nice quiet area, good neighborhood surrounding. I had some confusion on the night before checkout with getting the maid to clean the room and freshen the towels and get me an extra cot for room, as I had guests and family coming in for the race. Finally after 6pm I got the room kind of cleaned too fast and fresh towels and beds made. they did not vacuum and the floors were dirty for my incoming guests. I know they are remodeling and they are doing a fine job, but the maid service should already be set up and running like a well oiled machine for a hotel this size.. they took care of the towel problem but could have done a better job on the surface clean.

Newly renovated areas very nice

Only unsatisfactory part of stay was low water pressure and lukewarm water in shower Restaurant staff very helpful especially after one of my family had an allergic reaction to the sweet potatoes which were not labeled “contains nuts “. Recommend you consider improved warnings for common food allergies and having Benadryl in your first aid supplies

The hotel was under construction so it was a little messy, but it has potential. Across the bridge from Louisville in Clarksville, Indiana, so much quieter. Enjoyed the indoor pool.

Pros: Staff was friendly and the room was clean. It was nice that they give you a listing of the restaurants and attractions that are close to the motel.
Location: We were in town for a festival. We weren't looking for activities or anything else near the motel.
We had a little bit of a problem getting our room. I had booked it several months in advance online through Expedia before it changed hands and the information was never transferred over that I paid for the room. Luckily I had my banking information on my phone and was able to show them that the room had already been paid for. The lady was very nice that I dealt with at the front desk. The room had a nice view and was clean. We weren't there very long but had no complaints.

Their were hairs in the bathroom and bed was hard.

Easy Hotel

This was a quick last minute stop for me traveling. Hotel was clean, adequate, and my room was newly renovated. A perfectly good hotel with no frills and no issues and easy access.

Nice hotel across the river

The hotel is perfectly located across the river from downtown Louisville. The grounds behind the hotel are an unexpected surprise. The staff was very professional, friendly, and attentive. There is an indoor pool and an area downstairs for gatherings. The room had a modern decor and was nicely decorated and clean. The best part was the hotel restaurant. The buffet was AWESOME! Your dollar goes a long way.

Although the property is switching over to Radisson, the conditions of the room we had (I331) were deplorable!. Supposedly non-smoking, the room reeked of smoke. The bottom sheet had a questionable brown stain, the bathroom had been cleaned but there were numerous stains on the counters & walls. The overall condition of the hotel was quite dingy & dated. The staff was pleasant, but I could never recommend this hotel to anyone. On top of all this, the rate of $139 was ridiculous for this level of quality. $49.95 would have been more appropriate and we pass on those types of hotels.
