The hotel location

Pros: The size, restaurant, and central location.
Cons: Continue with the constructions projects.
Location: There plenty of restaurants, service stations and easy accessible to Louisville.
I really enjoy my stay at the hotel everything went very well. The hotel location is less than 3 miles from downtown Louisville to avoid a toll fee there directions at the hotel to instruct you how. I thought that was very helpful.

Great stay! Big room for a small price. The hotel is only a 5 minute drive from Louisville.

Good stay, but remodeling kinda disappointed

This hotel just changed to Radisson and it looks like they are continuing the work that the previous chain started. They finished the pool, which was great for the kids, but the rooms still need updating, we stayed in the big tower which I think is going to be the last to be remodeled. Wifi was pretty bad in the corner we were in, but it's hit in miss throughout, so if you need it bad, try to get a room closer to a router. Had an issue with the TV channels not showing up, called up, but no one ever came that first night, while we were out to dinner. Had them come in the morning, and it was fixed by the time we got back mid day.

Good hotel

We've stayed here many times. Rooms have always been comfortable and clean. This was our first stay under the new Radisson name. No real changes except higher rates. Will continue to stay here but only if we can snag a good room rate.

Ironman 2017 stay

Pros: lots of indoor things to do. barber shop, bar, indoor pool (very clean and warm), lots of nice lounge areas, nice computer area to use.
Cons: mark your lot better for the back parking. they tell you back by the tennis courts and they cannot be seen at night for incoming new people
Location: lots of great restaurants down by the river front on both sides Indiana and ky. waterpark, dinner theater, small lake & walk path nearby.
This is a very close proximity hotel to the Ironman in downtown Louisville ky without all the bustle of downtown. very easy to just come across second street bridge and go right to the riverfront for the race. Nice quiet area, good neighborhood surrounding. I had some confusion on the night before checkout with getting the maid to clean the room and freshen the towels and get me an extra cot for room, as I had guests and family coming in for the race. Finally after 6pm I got the room kind of cleaned too fast and fresh towels and beds made. they did not vacuum and the floors were dirty for my incoming guests. I know they are remodeling and they are doing a fine job, but the maid service should already be set up and running like a well oiled machine for a hotel this size.. they took care of the towel problem but could have done a better job on the surface clean.

Newly renovated areas very nice

Only unsatisfactory part of stay was low water pressure and lukewarm water in shower Restaurant staff very helpful especially after one of my family had an allergic reaction to the sweet potatoes which were not labeled “contains nuts “. Recommend you consider improved warnings for common food allergies and having Benadryl in your first aid supplies
