Horrible interaction with front desk staff! She so clearly did not want to be there it was awkward. Room looked recently "refreshed" with new bedding and paint. What's really needed though is a new mattress and showerhead. Both were terrible, though they seemed clean. Super thin walls. Hotel is directly across from a police dispatch, sirens off and on for our stay, once they got to the main street a block or so away. To be fair, all hotels in this street share the noise issue. This was our 1st time at a Super 8, and we won't seek them out in the future, based on this stay.

nice hotel close to just about everything

Thought for certain I had booked a non smoking room and ended up with a smoking room and they could not give him another. Staff was friendly and the room was clean other than the stale smoke smell.

Nice hotel right off I24

Looked recently remodeled, modern decor. Quiet & clean. Beds were fairly comfortable - but seemed "bouncy". Good location. Staff were friendly. Room was clean & fresh towels, even when we just asked for the beds made.

Convenient location

Pros: A superb price for the convenience and sleeping experience. Rooms are 80% modern. The bathroom is the oldest outdated portion of the room. Clean.
Cons: Modernize the bath.
Location: Very convenient to major roads and interstate. 10 minutes to river and downtown.
The hotel has a very convenient location. It is easy to access the parking lot with a busy road close by. Very quiet at night.

Nice and Quiet

The rooms were nice and clean. The location is great for shopping and eating out. I've stayed at several big name hotels in the area and this one ranks right up with the rest of them. The price was great as well. The rooms were spacious. Breakfast could have been better.

Pros: Nothing but location. Convenient to our trip.
Cons: NOT DESCRIBING THE ROOMS AS NON-SMOKING. .
We booked Super 8 Clarksville,TN Northeast because the rating was fabulous--one of the best in the area for our price range (4 out of 5) and the price was excellent. We asked specifically for a NON-SMOKING ROOM, When we got into our room, the smoke smell was absolutely overwhelming. We decided we could not handle the smoke smell, so the manager showed us another room above it on the 2nd floor. This was was even worse, with a man leaning against the wall one or two rooms down smoking a cigar. I could hardly breathe, causing me breathing difficulties. BOTH ROOMS WERE MARKED AS NON-SMOKING ON THE DOORS. At this point we went back to the manager and told him we could not stay there due to the HEAVY SMOKE SMELL. He said we could not get our money back from him since we had booked through Expedia. I talked with Expedia a few days later and very kindly helped us with an acceptable solution..

very clean, grounds and room

Pros: clean
Cons: need softer and more pillows. Enforce no pet rule
Location: close to shopping and food of all kinds. No sidewalks in Clarksville, hard to walk anywhere.
The beds were a little hard for our tastes but the room and grounds were very well kept. No extras, (conditioner, blankets, or pillows) but it felt safe and was clean. No pet hotel BUT, there was an older couple with their dog in an open carrier next to us eating breakfast! The last place a NO PET hotel should allow it! The ladies at the front desk were very polite and tried to be helpful. Will stay again if in the area.

thank you for your feedback, we look forward to your next stay. Any extras you'd like can usually be obtained from the front desk, although when it gets busy we can run out of those too. We don't take pets here, but service animals are welcome.
