This place was grossly misrepresented by Expedia and Camelot's website. Don't be fooled by the photo. What was billed as a "resort" was nothing more than a motel. The manager we met was initially hard to find as there was no internal office but rather what was more like a kiosk. We were given a key and the manager Vicky told us there was no maid service, and no pets allowed. Their website told the opposite. Other guests had dogs, we couldn't bring ours. Internet was horrible, ultra slow. TV was internet driven are required 2 remotes to get any channels. Kitchen area was greasy/nasty, we had to clean. Cell phone reception was impossible the first day, as if the signal was jammed, and after it finally appeared, the signal was weak. The bathroom was tiny and smelled like urine the whole time. Dust all thru the room (wife is allergic to dust). Coffee pot was not clean. There was an older gentleman, who worked the weekend in a helping, custodial role, I think Hispanic looking who was very pleasant, approached us by the pool, smiled asked if we needed anything. Pool was clean, not heated. Motel was not full by any means. Close to the beach though, which was nice. I will not stay there again, nor will I recommend to anyone who is looking to have a pleasant place to stay and sleep. Way too pricey!! If we thought it was possible we would ask for a refund.
