Enjoyable stay...friendly staff

Pros: Enthusiastic staff made us feel welcome. Our room had been recently renovated and my family liked the sleek, modern decor.
Cons: Bistro on the Bay seemed to run out of snacks as the week progressed. Also the breakfast buffet could have used a bit more variety.
Location: Just a short drive from busy, tourist area of Clearwater Beach. Hotel is on the bay and our room had a pretty water view.
Our family wanted to take a brief trip to FL to relax and enjoy the beach. This was our first trip to Clearwater and this hotel. We would go back to both for sure. You can either walk or take the hotel van to the beach. Sand Key Beach is huge. My kids could run and throw sand without bothering anyone. The hotel offered a laundry facility and kids club which we didn't use but maybe we'll take advantage of next time. The pool area was pretty and there were plenty of lounge chairs. Staff made us feel appreciated. Overall, this was a hotel that I'd be happy to return to.

Loose/missing tiles around pool area, hazardous Pool heater broken during our 5 day stay

Clearwater 2017

Pros: The people who worked there from the front desk, our room attendant and the people working the pool area all 10's
Cons: Food. Building needs some updating
Location: This motel is not within walking distance of much. Its kind of isolated unless you drive.
The hotel needs some upgrading/remodeling but overall acceptable. The one major negative is the food. We at at Kokomos by the pool and in their dining room. The food was a 3 out of 10 The first night my wife and i both had salads. The lettuce tasted old, the same with the bread. lunch at the pool wasn't any better. The worst fish tacos I've ever had. The help at this facility was excellent. We ended up eating at the Sheraton across the road on day 2. Delicious.

Worst customer service

Location: Clearwater beach really nice
Nice hotel but because of "system error" of the hotel and expedia we could only spend one night and since we arrived @ 8pm we really did not have the opportunity to enjoy any of the resort. Hotel customer service was not helpful at all

Oustanding Accommodation in Every Respect!

Loved everything about this hotel. Suites are brilliantly designed making use of every square foot of space and every staff member was cordial and welcoming. They really seem to care about their guests at every level. The pool area is excellent, providing pool floats etc for guests, as well as daily activities and drink service. There is even a mini beach area and cabanas for rent. Altogether a great place to stay.

staff was great, motel was awesome. The shuttle driver that takes you to the beach even loans you chair, umbrella, boogie board, toys. You dont have to take anything. Loved it!

Great resort. Disappointed with the slider door in the room to the balcony. Could not push it open or closed. Called maintenance but did not get a response in our 2 night stay.
