Very well done remodeling of an old building. Only hotel in downtown area and many dining choices available. Cons: Train whistles through out the night as well as many fire/ambulance sirens 24 hours. At the rates charged some hot items could be added to the breakfast.

I lived in Cleburne 20 plus years and always heard the rumors surrounding the hotel being haunted. I since moved away And now come and visit my grandkids but came across a really good deal on Expedia for a week stay. I jumped on it with a little hesitation but I am very glad I did. It makes me want to never stay at another hotel again. The staff was helpful yet left you to your business whether 4 pm or 4 am. The rooms have an antique look but spotless clean all the way to the toilet. I usually bring my Own cleaning supplies but on this stay I didn't even have to use them. I was very impressed with the overall hotel. It could use better breakfast and my room didn't have a microwave but those are minor things that can be looked past due to the exceptional experience we had with our stay.

Liberty Hotel-Cleburne
The hotel, itself is very beautiful. You had to call someone to come check you in. It was somewhat out of the way to get to the hotel. My particular room did not have a closet to hang my clothes, the toilet did not function properly...had to remove the lid to manually flush it, and the bed was almost as hard as attempting to sleep on the floor. Inam sure there are much better choices, especially for the price paid for the room.

Quaint hotel with secure interior opening doors and unique history. Staff is down to a bare minimum but adequate. Issues were minor such as drapes not opening and no heat-proof cups in room with coffeemaker, cramped bath area (no tub), parking in next block across back street. Breakfast was better than the continental advertised, had a wafflemaker and hard boiled eggs though coffee was out. I wouldn't call rate a great value but was an upgrade from basic motel chains. Was generally quiet with few guests during our mid-week stay.

Great place to stay. Very clean. I would stay again and recommend. Prices were reasonable. My only complaint is rooms were not serviced second day we were there. Towels were not replaced, bed unmade and coffee we used was not replaced. We were not informed rooms would not be serviced

The property is an older building that was renovated and they did an excellent job doing so. The room was very comfortable and roomy. It was well kept and clean. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

Not very clean. There was poop on the toilet and the carpet was not vacuumed. Half of the plugs didn't work and the girl who works at the front desk just let us bang on the door for several minutes until we went to another one and were able to get in. I'm absolutely no stranger to cleburne so I thought I would give this a shot. Not great. And the breakfast was really lacking.

The hotel is quaint! It was like stepping back in time. It is quiet and clean. However, our room had a coffee maker, but no coffee cups. So, the next morning we went down to the Lobby early during the time range for the continental breakfast and coffee. We were disappointed to find little coffee in the one canister and it was cold. And there wasn’t anyone around to ask about it.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice room. Older hotel with character and its is kept up nicely. Breakfast a little to be desired but wouldn’t deter me from staying here again. Great location, walkable to most places of interest

Really enjoyed my stay there were no slamming doors in the morning no people talking loudly in hallway s no unruly children, just a place of respectful people was wonderful. Room was lovely special shades that kept all sun out. My only disappointment was breakfast it was waffles and or cereal orange juice. No protein sugar was a bit much for me

Great location, comfy!
This was our second 1-night stay at this historic hotel, located in the downtown area of Cleburne. We find it very conveniently located, comfortable and very clean. The only recommendation would be to upgrade TV’s to be smart TV’s… unless you truly enjoy old cable TV settings/channels.

This building will celebrate it's 100th anniversary. The structure has been here that long. The hotel was restored in 2008. We hope you enjoyed how we tried to make it feel of yesteryear by making it look vintage.

Charming and Affordable
This is a charming historical hotel with updates that preserved and complemented the original style of architecture. Bath was updated to meet modern tastes with the lavatory outside the toilet/shower room. Shower is small as one might expect with a historical hotel, but it had newer tile and was clean. Overall quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was set up well with a waffle maker, muffins, pastries, cereal, boiled eggs, juice and coffee. There was also a coffee maker in the room. There was no one stationed at the front desk, but once you call the number on the sign, someone comes to assist you which reminds me of smaller hotels in Europe that are family run. Charming, affordable and much better than chain hotels in the same price point.

Wonderful experience
This was my second time staying at the Liberty hotel. It is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The service is excellent, and it is in a great location downtown within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The Liberty is where I will stay whenever I am in Cleburne.
