Great Hotel, Nice Features

Pros: Cleanliness friendliness and the hot breakfast along with the pool
Cons: this is my personal preference but i thought the beds were a little on the firm or hard side
Location: There was several restaurants nearby. We did not look or pay attention to anything else as we were staying their for the purpose of Cedar Point.
Hotel staff was great. The rooms were clean and breakfast was amazing! This was an all you could eat breakfast. The spa and pool was clean and open till 11pm they had a little fitness room that was open 24 hours. There's a few pizza places nearby and dominos did deliver directly to your room also providing paper plates and extra napkins to accommodate your meal. There's also several other restaurants about 5 miles -+ from your hotel. There also was an elevator for your convenience along with public laundry if needed. When checking out it was fast and easy and they had brought up a trolley cart for convenience to bring our belongings down.

Wonderful stay

Everybody at the hotel was wonderful especially Tina she was wonderful she did all the cooking the cleaning the serving for breakfast I could not get enough of this woman. She blessed the whole trip with her kindness. I've never looked forward to eating breakfast and all my life. Thank you again Tina and thank you to the staff you were all great.

comfortable retreat

Pros: food and very helpful staff
Cons: had to use key to enter late at night. Since I was unaware of this my hands were full so it was very inconvenient.
Good food, room was comfortable, and was very clean.

Had to wait 45 minutes to get in room after checking in. Toilet set was loose. Staff got on elevator with me with three bags of garbage.

Freaking idiot staff...

My husband and I stayed here because we had tickets for a show at black river landing. We paid for the room weeks in advance but when we checked in we had to wait 30 minutes for our room. The frustrating part was that we saw at least 3 or 4 couples come in after we did and they were all able to get into their rooms immediately! Because of the incompetence of the staff we had no time to get ready for the show and were late. However with that being said the room was clean and in a convenient location. The über driver we had was very familiar with the area and she had even said that this was the best hotel compared to others. Also the $50 deposit we had to pay upon check in has yet to be reimbursed. We were told it would take no longer than a couple of days to be put back in our account but it's been a week and a half and still no reimbursement. Clearly the staff managing the front desk have no clue what they're doing but the cleaning staff apparently do because our room was clean and comfortable.

Our hotel was sold out on August 5-6 2016, the day of and prior to your arrival. Our check out time is not until 12 noon with a standard check in time of 3:00 pm however, our staff works hard in preparing recently vacated rooms trying to fulfill any early check in requests. Depending upon the room type reserved and the order in which they become vacant is not under our control and unfortunately sometimes allows this task to escape us. Pending security deposit authorizations are released upon checkout but can take up to 14 Business days to return to your account depending on the financial institution provider you are with, and whether the card was a debit card vs credit card.
