My husband and I stayed here because we had tickets for a show at black river landing. We paid for the room weeks in advance but when we checked in we had to wait 30 minutes for our room. The frustrating part was that we saw at least 3 or 4 couples come in after we did and they were all able to get into their rooms immediately! Because of the incompetence of the staff we had no time to get ready for the show and were late. However with that being said the room was clean and in a convenient location. The über driver we had was very familiar with the area and she had even said that this was the best hotel compared to others. Also the $50 deposit we had to pay upon check in has yet to be reimbursed. We were told it would take no longer than a couple of days to be put back in our account but it's been a week and a half and still no reimbursement. Clearly the staff managing the front desk have no clue what they're doing but the cleaning staff apparently do because our room was clean and comfortable.

Our hotel was sold out on August 5-6 2016, the day of and prior to your arrival. Our check out time is not until 12 noon with a standard check in time of 3:00 pm however, our staff works hard in preparing recently vacated rooms trying to fulfill any early check in requests. Depending upon the room type reserved and the order in which they become vacant is not under our control and unfortunately sometimes allows this task to escape us. Pending security deposit authorizations are released upon checkout but can take up to 14 Business days to return to your account depending on the financial institution provider you are with, and whether the card was a debit card vs credit card.
