Fantastic repurposing of an historic building.

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Hotel staff were pleasant, polite and quick to respond to any issue (my coffee maker didn't work).
Cons: Put a mini-fridge in the rooms.
Location: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. A must-see.
The hotel is located in the Arcade, one of the earliest indoor shopping malls in America. It's Gilded Age architecture is awesome. Many of the shops in the Arcade are vacant, which is sad, but the building is beautiful. The hotel is actually located in the two "tower" ends of the building with the arcade of shops in between. If there is a downside to this hotel, it's that the lobby can only be located at one end of the building, so if you want to speak to the hotel staff face-to-face, you have to walk the length of the arcade - but at least it's a pleasant walk!

Great architecture,

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: 20 foot ceilings and 8 foot windows. Room service oatmeal breakfast kept my motor running.
Cons: I could hear the upstairs neighbors a little because of the age of the building, but it wasn't bad. In room coffee not so great - esp the decaf.
Location: Get out and take some pics of the wonderful municipal architecture - they don't make them like this anymore!
slightly run down, but very nice, great architecture in this facility and neighborhood. A little sketchy, since right down the street from the Casino, but a central location and my view overlooking the original Public Library building was outstanding. I could even see the lake. Cleveland was a great city, nice people, visit now before the tsunami of gentrification brings the 10 dollar latte. I would stay again!

Great location!

Location was perfect! We took the RTA (transit/train) from/to airport. Lots of great restaurant within a few blocks of hotel. Walking distance to Progressive Field, Quicken Loans Arena & Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Night stay to visit Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Posted Aug 24, 2015
The hotel was conveniently located, but was not well maintained. The Arcade is beautiful, but not very functional. The rooms are hard to access. There was dust and dirt along all of the baseboards. Sadly, the furnishings are worn out.

Cleveland Hyatt

Posted Aug 15, 2015
Pros: Location, staff was accommodating
Cons: competitive rates, more thorough cleaning more comfortable beds
Location: Everything, centrally located to downtown restaurants, ballpark and Quicken loans arena, You can walk to most of the downtown attractions
When I checked in Is told there were a "limited" number of rooms at this rate offered by Expedia. The room they gave me was right behind the elevator shaft and a small box; fortunately it had been smoked in by the previous occupant. (I didn't know they still had smoking rooms?) As I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke I called the front desk and they did move me to a much nicer room on the main hotel area. Note this rate was $250 a night plus $80 in taxes and fees. The rooms are over priced for what they offer they are small and overlook an airshaft and parking garage. The bathroom was poorly cleaned (I did not complain) and the rooms facing the Arcade are subject to the noise from people going in and out of the building. The Hotel IS in a GREAT location the Euclid Street entrance opens right onto the restaurant row on East 4th Street and is an easy walk to the Ballpark and Quicken Loans arena so you are paying for location. The $24.00 valet rate is competitive to local garages which jack up their rates for special events (Browns games)..

Well...It's OK

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: Location, Free Wi-Fi
Cons: Cut Prices, Inform guests earlier of Events & refund their deposits so they came move to other hotels if needed.
Location: Already done, baseball, basketball, E. 4th St Restaurants
As with many places, you're really not paying for the rm. You're paying for the location of a dwntwn hotel within a large historical bldg. The rms are very small, w/high ceilings (maybe10 ft ?) & sparse. Buy, you can walk 1 or 2 blocks to some fun restaurants & clubs, or 5 blocks to the Tower Ctr Mall / Casino / subway train to the airport, basketball / baseball stadiums. Parking, as expected, was expensive. So, 1 of 3 elevators was down, so they were very very very slow. Ck In / Out was fast & easy. Then, they had the nerve to literally shut down part of the Arcade / Entrances / Walkways to accommodate a wedding. So, you already had slow elevators, now they want you to walk around here & there to avoid someone's wedding & party. If they had told us about this when I booked, obviously I would not have booked. You are paying for the ambiance of the Arcade, so they had the nerve to close part of it down. There are many other hotels around, so take your choice.

Our stay was very comfortable and affordable. We recommend the valet parking provided by the hotel since it gives you unlimited in/out privilege s at no additional cost.
