Hotel nothing like the pictures

Very disappointed, no carpet in rooms and the pool was empty. Very limited breakfast items.

Thank you for staying with us at the Red Roof Inn in Elyria, Ohio. I am happy to say most of the rooms are not like the pictures on the website. We are in the middle of renovation. The old carpet has been taken out of the rooms. Our pictures on the website show the old flowered comforters, the old carpet and the huge tank like TV's. It also shows the old paint and wall décor. Our website will be upgraded when the renovation is complete The website did say the pool is under renovation and is closed. I am sorry that you were disappointed the older rooms were only available on the 3rd floor, however I am puzzled that you preferred the old rooms. All the Red Roofs will be switching to the "New Generation" rooms.

Pros: Location off tollway good
Cons: Improve rooms contents....at least have a table in the room...We had king bed, a chair and half empty room..?????
Location: Near tollroad. Many eating locations nearby.
Bathroom very dirty....would have asked for different room had we noticed earlier...microwave dirty with coffee cup left inside so obviously not cleaned....floors have been redone but VERY poor quality of flooring...hotel rooms show age. Mold on ceiling in bathroom and I don't know what on door. Very disappointed!!!!!!!

Convenient but dated

The hotel is very convenient for off and on to I80 and I90. It does seem a bit run-down. Pool was closed without explanation, hallway bathroom also. Security doors were bothersome. It made for a good short stopover spot.

People were in the hallway talking several times passing our door several times along with slamming doors every 15 min to half hour until late.

This is truly an award winning Red Roof Inn.

I have stayed at many Red Roof Inns in the Cleveland area however this is one of the best places I have stayed in Friendly staff and clean and meeting room I love the way they have the breakfast set up for us in the morning and because I leave out an hour early they even help by putting the food out early thank you Red Roof for making my stay it a relaxing visit evertime. Planning to reserve a room there once a week for an entire month

Somewhat disappointed

Swimming pool closed, sink had a huge crack, barely enough towels, no shower cap, only decaf coffee in room, and walls very thin.

Decent room.

Pretty ordinary stay. Nothing jumped out as being exceptional. Seemed pretty average. Room was clean and comfortable. If it is important to you, the WIFI is horrendous. We could only get the WIFI to work in one small spot near the microwave. Move away from it and "poof" no Internet. But I wouldn't make it a deal breaker to stay here again. Probably would book again.

Pros: SIZE OF ROOM WAS GOOD, TV'S GOOD
Cons: UPON ARRIVAL - ROOM SMELLED - TRASH LEFT IN ROOM BY HOUSEKEEPING BED SPREAD HAD A CIGARETTE HOLE IN IT, MATTRESS COVER HAD MULTIPLE STAINS,HAD TO SWIT
OVERALL STRUCTURE IS GOOD - EMPLOYEES NICE - BUT CONDITION OF ROOMS DOES SHOW A LOT OF WEAR.- OUTSIDE SIDE DOOR BROKEN - UNSECURE.

Very Clean

Location: Close to both I-80 and I-90. Plenty of restaurants that are nearby.
Nice and clean. You can tell they are renovating this hotel. Weakest part would be the bathroom which was very small and cramped, but great for a place to stay on a trip. Breakfast was simple - hard boiled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins.
