Love The Glidden HousePosted Aug 23, 2015
The hotel staff was friendly and inviting. The room was clean. The buffet breakfast was delicious. We loved the Glidden House!!! Little Italy is close by with great restaurants to choose from. We ate at Anthony's and the food was fantastic. We had the lobster tail and filet mignon. Delicious!!! It is definitely a place worth returning to.

wonderful surprisePosted Aug 19, 2015
Pros: Location and staff. Very clean
Cons: May considering replacing the wood frame beds
Location: Botanical gardens, museum, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and downtown Cleveland about 15 minutes away
A lovely hotel was located in a beautiful area of Cleveland - a short drive from the downtown core - surrounded by green space. An older building but very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was wonderful and great selection. Would rebook for any future visit.

Lovely hotel on the Case Western Reserve campusPosted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: The proximity to the campus and the comfortable room make this hotel a great place to stay when visiting Case Western Reserve University.
Cons: No improvement necessary!
Location: The hotel is right on the university campus and there are several great restaurants nearby. The Cleveland Museum of Art is also only short walk away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Glidden House. The staff was courteous and very helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast was delicious. There are many restaurants within walking distance and we were also able to walk to the Case Western Reserve University Admission Office. We just wished we could have stayed another night or two!

trip to the Rock & Roll HallPosted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: looks, history, quality, location . . . they've got it all.
Cons: would have like to eat outside on the patio at breakfast but it seemed unavailable. The eggs could have been hotter but breakfast was good
Location: college location affords lots of extras, museums, bars, restaurants. Little Italy section is walking distance from the hotel
Our stay was extended an extra day just because our hotel was so cool and in such a great location for other museums and restaurants and the botanical gardens. We were going to stay out of town near the highway to save money but the deal on Glidden House made everything possible. The accomodations and breakfast were top shelf all the way and we literally walked everywhere from our room plus free parking at the hotel. We took in a free nightime city festival across the street with music and street food and drink. We plan to go back to Cleveland just to stay here and explore some of the other museums on the campus of Case Western. We also visited the Garfield library and museum in nearby Mentor OH and his burial monument around the corner from the hotel.

Beautiful neighborhood!Posted Jul 24, 2015
The Glidden House was just what I wanted it to be--charming and beautiful. It was in a lovely neighborhood right in the heart of a college campus. We walked around in the day and night and felt very comfortable. There were several great places to eat, a little grocery store and a very nice bowling alley within walking distance. There was a French and Italian restaurants that were very close by and were delicious. There is a fascinating ice cream store called Piccadilly's that makes the ice cream right in from of you. The chocolate silk was wonderful and so fun to watch them make it. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were wonderful at the hotel. I would go there again if I am back in Cleveland.

Lovely hotel in the arts district of ClevelandPosted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: Everything, especially the location and the incredibly nice people who work there.
Location: A perfect location in the arts district of Cleveland. There is so much to do in that part of town that there is not enough room here to tell about it.
A wonderful place to stay. It is right next to the Cleveland Art Museum and a ton of other cool places to go. Totally convenient with an absolutely top shelf team of guest services folks. I loved this hotel!

Nice hotel close to museums but it is limitedPosted Jul 23, 2015
I was delighted with the hotel. Be advised that it has no coffee shop or place to get a snack - only vending machines. There is a small bar, but if you want a cup of tea in the evening, forget it! By the way, the rooms have coffee makers, but there are no tea bags.
