The Cleveland Harbor West Pier-head lighthouse was constructed in 1911 and automated in 1965 and still flashes its beacon to alert ships every five seconds. Radiated tortoises make their home in the fantastic spiny desert of Madagascar, one of the two ecosystems represented under the 3,400 pieces of glass and 738,000 pounds of steel of the Eleanor Armstrong Smith glasshouse. #Cleveland The Fountain of Eternal Life, also known as the War Memorial Fountain and Peace Arising from the Flames of War, is a statue and fountain in downtown Cleveland, Ohio dedicated on May 30, 1964. This is a wonderful venue for a concert. Art deco style is stunning. Foyer even more ornate. The Terminal Tower will always be lighted in colors of the season, a charity or even the local sports team. At 709ft, It remained the tallest building in the world outside of New York City until the completion of the main building of Moscow State University in Moscow in 1953; it was the tallest building in North America outside of New York until the Prudential Center in Boston, Massachusetts, was completed in 1964. We had our Glass rotunda ceiling. This building was abandoned for 25 years and just recently reopened. We love our giant chandelier and our gorgeous theater district. There are 9 indoor Theaters and one outdoor plaza in the area. The Palace Theater is my personal favorite of course- sorry I'm basic. Eat at Cowell and Hubbard if you are dining before a show. They will make SURE you are on time for your curtain.

The museum also maintains a small collection of live animals including deer, owls, otters, foxes and this cute little raccoon peering out from the comfy confines of this hollowed out log. This old style postcard mural needed a little help, but my lovely assistant needed a ladder. Jacobs Field and Gund Arena...err..I mean...Progressive Insurance Field and Quicken Loans Arena. Behind the Great Lakes Science Center and next to First Energy Stadium a fun park with these movable figures. #LoveMyTown Industrial rust is one of the most beautiful things. The worn signage, faded brick, and rust. #Architecture The view looking out over the flats and lake Erie from the observation floor of the terminal tower. Think farmer's market meets flea market meets food festival meets concert and you have Night Market Cleveland. Crust serves pizza by the slice, but not exactly like you'd expect. This slice weighs nearly a pound and is more than enough for a meal.
Pick your toppings and indulge. I went with smoked mozzarella and pork sausage stuffed banana peppers. There to enjoy my first professional baseball game. Upon on a hill, looking over factories. #Architecture Stormy weather made for dramatic skies in the background.
