Very convient for my stay.

Posted Jul 11, 2017
Pros: Staff, the neatness of the rooms.
Cons: The smell on the outside.
Location: Shopping and enjoy ourselves with family.
Very nice, very nice staff, I just didn't like the smell on the outside. It's next to a sausage factory so there is an odor.

A KIND WORD/HELLO GOES A LONG WAY!

Posted Dec 21, 2016 on Hotels
Let me first say that I WASN'T going to write a review about this place. What compelled me to leave a review was the Manager! I stayed over in Clinton because I was too tired to drive to my next destination. And this review is NOT a reflection of Clinton. I was FULLY aware that my options would be few. This Days Inn had a review rating of 3.7. The HIGHEST among the 4 local hotels. I checked in. Went to sleep. When I woke I reached over to dial the front office. The phone didn't work. I opened the door to see the cleaning crew. I asked if the phone worked. I'm not sure if they spoke english but it was clear that we had a language barrier. They "gestured" no. At 11:15 a.m. I heard a knock at the door. An older lady with a cleaning cart, who didn't say ANYTHING looked at me perplexed. I said "I'm leaving soon". 15 mins later there was a LOUD BANGING at the door. I opened to the manager staring at his watch and teling me that checkout was at 11 a.m. and I needed to leave (not in a nice tone). I said I tried to call but the phone didn't work...I asked the staff but they didn't understand. He said "YOU TOLD THEM 15 MINS..I WILL GIVE YOU 5". 5 mins later the same cleaning lady knocked on my door JUST as loud as he did. As I opened the door to leave she began speaking under her breath...not in english. And I'm not some "America Snob". But she CLEARLY had some chpice words to day to me that I COULDN'T understand. I am leaving this review in HOPES that the level of interaction RISES!

Terrible

Posted Nov 21, 2016
We tried to check in early morning as we had a late flight in. We came to the window and the night clerk would not answer the door or any phone calls. We tried for 30 min + before we went to another hotel up the road. Facility looked very run down and not in a good part of town. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Disappointed and dissatisfied

Posted Nov 7, 2016 on Hotels
Terrible because I made a mistake in scheduling the wrong date and when I arrived to check in the receptionist was not willing to help and make an adjustment, I needed a room and she said she would have to charge me again, I was incredulous, no one should have to go through what I did, it was not even busy season for days inn and they should have made the adjustment, after all they already got paid, I'm so dissatisfied I will not be using hotels.com nor will I be staying at days inn, way too many hotels out there that are more interested in helping people then taking doublepayment for a room!
