Great hotel for the pricePosted Oct 5, 2015
Great hotel for the price. Nice swimming & hot tub area. Breakfast was yuck & closed at 8:30am. People were still in breakfast area and they stared clearing everything out. The best thing is my 5 year old son unpacked his bag and out all of his clothes in the drawers. When we got home we realized we for got ALL of them. Called the hotel and they found them and all were returned! Whew!

Good locationPosted Sep 16, 2015
Location is good. Room was not cleaned for two days with various excuses from the manager/owner. Building access doors do not lock, open 24/7. Door to vacant ro next to ours was wide open for two days. Did not feel very safe and secure. Continental breakfast was not very good. Was charged $1.81 per day for the safe in our room. Didn't use it, didn't ask for it, didn't know about extra charge until check out.

Family Trip to See FriendsPosted Aug 3, 2015
While the hotel is older, it is well-maintained and clean, quiet atmosphere and very comfortable beds. It was close to the locations we required and met our needs just fine.

Nice hotel for price in SedaliaPosted Aug 2, 2015
Our room was just fine. New carpet that had a cushiony feel when you walked on it. Bed was very comfortable. A/c was not noisy. Room very clean. Hotel staff was friendly. Upon checkout I informed front desk person that bathroom fan was not working and she immediately took a piece of paper and wrote down info. It appears this hotel is going thru upgrades as we saw 20 or more old TVS in back of hotel waiting for recycling pickup. Looks like flat screens are coming in. Our room still had old TV, but it worked and pic was good. We arrived very late and our room was in back of hotel. We were told we could park around back to make unloading easier and not to worry because hotel had security cameras around entire property. All in all a good experience. Wish we had time to take advantage of pool and hot tub as it is absolutely beautiful area.

Average Stay...with Picky ConcernsPosted Jun 5, 2015 on Hotels
It was an average stay...took the kids to the pool, a group in there had toys strung everywhere, were loud & throwing things.I took my kids out. I'd prefer for someone to casually walk by pool/public use areas once in awhile to keep things friendly for everyone. The gym... only 3 pieces of equipment. Treadmill sort of worked, weight machine & stationary bike did not. I walked around the building several times. That wasn't too bad. Parking lot was well lit. Only concern was broken glass in the back parking lot, looked like a window got busted out. I wouldn't park around back. The family next door to me had the TV up loud, flipping channels all night. Walls were thin. Finally turned the A/C on, the humming drowned the TV noise out. Breakfast was ok. They had almost ran out of hot foods but the area was very clean, well organized. Front lobby area was clean, reception friendly. Parking was good (in the front), well lit, close to the entry. Room was clean (the shower curtain could use some bleach) Extra towels provided easily (towels were dingy, new ones would be a suggestion). The gym was clean. I worked in a motel; my expectations of cleanliness are high; the staff does very well here. Did try to call a head to reserve but had to go to hotels.com, the number was not working. I don't think we dialed incorrectly, but could have. I don't know that I would stay again. If there were no other options in town, the price was good and it was clean

Don't expect muchPosted May 31, 2015
Pros: Over priced for the actual room, but not much in the way of choice in Sedalia MO
Cons: Mattress and sheets. Chairs without stains on them. AC worked great!
Only three small flat pillows on the king bed, with a mattress mostly wore out. Cigarette burns in the carpet in a non smoking room......Don't expect much and you will be satisfied....here on business and not in the room much, so it was ok

Breakfast for TwoPosted Mar 28, 2015 on Hotels
The stay was nice. Once morning came, the owners started car checking the lot for unwanted vehicles and guess. If you pre-paid for a room to occupy two people. I would hope that two people can enjoy the complimentary breakfast instead of just one.
