Weren't there long, late arrival and early departure. Good nite's sleep, breakfast was ok and location was convenient.

The bed was comfortable the breakfast was excellent with a lot of options. The bathroom should have been cleaner.

You get what you pay for

Pros: Free Breakfast
Cons: overall maintenance
Location: Central to many upstate cities, but nothing much within twenty miles. Restaurant next door closed on Mondays.
Inexpensive hotel in a central location. Free breakfast was appreciated. Room needed minor maintenance. Near highway and truck stops. This is a MOTEL...with rooms accessed from outside. That means lots of noise throughout the night as people & vehicles come-and-go.

no heat

There wasn’t any heat in my room. Asked for a different room and that was out of the question. Then trying to get a refund was a task. Then have to find a different hotel at midnight wasn’t what I had planned.

the room was not very clean and it looked like someone had use the bed previously. like they made the bed and then sat on and watch TV. Cleanliness of the room was 1 star.

Great for travelers passing through

We were visiting my grandmother (who was in hospice) in nearby Chester and needed a place to stay overnight. This was the closest vacant hotel that I was comfortable with. Pros: it's a large property and very well lit. The check-in process was easy and the staff were pleasant. The room was spacious. Slightly dated but the beds were comfortable and it had a flat screen tv with a decent channel lineup. The room was pretty much clean except one of the pillows was dirty (not stained--it had dried up food on it). NBD we brought our own. Checkout was easy. Cons: the only con would be the dirty pillow--- everything else was great especially for the price point.

Our staff, whenever possible, will accommodate guest's requests, as they did with your early check in to your guestroom. The Hotel's location is a big bonus. Across the fork from I 26 & I 385, close by to both Spartanburg & Greenville and GSP Airport makes for easy traveling to Quality Inn Clinton - SC ! Location, Location, Location! I do apologize you found your guest beds not sufficient for your needs and have shared your comment with management.

FINE INTERSTATE STOP, Pretty Quiet

Pros: Convenient and Quiet, Good rate, Pet Friendly
PARKING! Half the hotel rooms do not have parking by the room because of the way the two buildings are set up. We travel with bikes on our car like to back up to our room when staying in this type of motel our room was on the interior courtyard, so we had to park somewhat illegally to see the car and my husband woke up several times to double check the car because it was so far away. Otherwise clean and simple hotel, breakfast was pretty extensive especially for the price Staff polite friendly and helpful
