This is one of the newer hotels in the area. The entire facility was clean and fresh. Ice machines, vending machines and laundry on all 3 floors. Beds were comfortable, shower head was nice and tall (important for those of us over 6').
The AC is controlled by a motion sensitive thermostat. If you are not moving around in the room, the AC turns off after a few minutes. I guess this is so guests don't leave the AC running all day while they are out, but it sure makes for a warm sleeping environment in the summertime.
We didn't get to check out the pool and hot tub, as we were out past 10pm most nights. I was able to print boarding passes in the business center with no trouble.
Breakfast is available from 6-10AM. There is a good variety of breads, pastries, scrambled eggs, fruits, cereals, oatmeal, apple, orange, and grapefruit juice, and of course the waffle maker with a selection of chocolate chips, syrups, and fruits. Be sure to plan ahead, 'cause they shut it down promptly at 10.
The hotel is situated between an Aldi grocery store, and a Target. It's set back from the road a bit, and the sign is not illuminated at night, so it's easy to miss when arriving late. Overall, this was an excellent place to stay and I will likely stay here again on my next trip to the Detroit area.
