Nice hotel

After staying at the LaQuita in Omaha a month ago we decided to stay again. This time in Des Moines. I found the room to be equally as nice and clean. Very comfortable stay and I will continue to search an area I travel in for a LaQuinta nearby. Good price for a nice clean comfortable room. Thanks!!

Spend more and get more

Pros: It does have a nice location close to the interstate.
Cons: Staff training, cleanliness, upgrades.
The hotel was not very clean, stains on the floor of our room. The bathroom tiles were missing along the floorboards. The shower had several areas where mold was growing on the grout. We had to unplug the fridge and the microwave because they would start to smell hot after the compressor turned on. In the morning the breakfast was cereal and some bagels, which I think were not the freshest things in the world, and there wasn't even a daily paper available for guests to read in the morning. Bottom line you get what you pay for......next time we will spend the extra $$ and stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

Nice, clean and quiet. Pets stay free!!!! I would definitely consider this hotel again.

One night on the road

Beds are super comfortable. Breakfast bar didn't have as many options as I would have liked, but there is a Crackle Barrel right across the parking lot

Pros: Carpets were soiled and the bedspread had an odor. Otherwise OK - I've stayed in worse.
Staff was nice & there were restaurants close. This hotel could use an update........"..............

Nice property--clean and comfortable. Neutral about the area, because it was just a night stay. Coffee in breakfast bar needs improvement---bitter taste from machine. Otherwise an enjoyable stop
