"Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

The location is fantastic, perfect for relaxing and exploring the area. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. "The room was nice, view's are spectacular. However the hotel itself is tired needs updating even just a lick of pain, new flooring etc would work. Beautiful walks and grounds. Staff were lovely and friendly. Food was ok nothing special but not expensive. The pictures in the website wasn't a true representation of the hotel as I said needs a good update and clean. The bath in our room needs replacing asap I'd say. However everything else was good"

"Morag and Davey were wonderful hosts with a beautiful home. Morag making sure I was happy and making a beautiful cooked breakfast every day I was there. Davey even reinflated my tyre with his tractor so I could get my car to the local tyre fitting place. The room was very comfortable, warm and had everything I needed for a very enjoyable 3 night stay for snowboarding at Glenshee, which is only 15 minutes up the road. I would love to stay there again, and another huge thank you to both Morag and Davey for their hospitality. "
