Nice place

Posted Apr 2, 2017
Pros: Staff, cleanliness, has a bar although it's 70 yr old dudes listening to bad country music 99% of the time.
Cons: Better fitness facilities. Also, move the hotel out of the town of Clovis....just saying.
Location: Look man, the town of Clovis, NM, is a shit hole. Stay here only if it has to be Clovis. Recommend driving the extra 4 hrs to the west or 1 hr east.
Standard sub-standard fitness facilities for a hotel. No surprise. Staff awesome, room clean and well managed. Close to trains, you get used to it after a night, stayed for multiple weeks, it was not bad at all. Recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Days Inn Clovis. We appreciate your kind comments about the staff and Hotel cleanliness. We are in the process of starting a renovation on the bar. Look for good things ahead. Hope to see you soon.

Won't recommend to friends

Posted Mar 30, 2017
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Water temperature and channel selection.
Location: Not bad location. A few restaurants were nearby. Near main street of town.
Put at end of hotel on top floor. Had to climb stairs. Not near office or other people. Shower wouldn't stay the temperature it was set at. Kept going from hot to cold. Not many channels on tv. Room looked nothing like advertisement for king size bed.

Thank you for your kind comments on our breakfast. Please accept our apology for the problem you had with the water temperature. We have 4 Premium channels on our HD TVs and over 90 regular channels, so I not sure about your comment on the tv. I will look into it.

Nice economical hotel

Posted Mar 8, 2017
Pros: Rooms were clean & comfortable. Staff was friendly.
Cons: Decor - Older hotel so could be updated.
Location: Right along the highway - easy to get to.
Comfortable, clean room. Really comfortable bed - had a great night's sleep. Free hot breakfast with a good variety of food. Friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel for anyone travelling and looking for a economical, clean place to spend the night.

What You'd Expect

Posted Jan 13, 2017 on Hotels
It was about what you'd expect for a Days Inn in a small town on the edge of NM/TX. There was a white powdery something that was along the bottom of the walls where the carpeting began. No clue what that was, which is why I gave it a lower rating for cleanliness. Ask for a courtyard facing room. The train tracks are really close to the hotel (and basically all the hotels in Clovis), and trains are required to blow their whistle every time they pass a road crossing or something like that, so it can be loud/disturbing. I didn't really notice it since we had a courtyard facing room. I noticed more when we were driving in, so I was glad we had a room that didn't face the tracks. I'm sure I'll make this drive again. And if I stop in Clovis, I wouldn't mind staying again for the price. The lobby was really nice. The difference between the lobby and the room in quality was interesting. My husband thought the room would be a lot nicer after seeing the lobby. All in all, we needed a room to sleep in on our way from Utah to Texas. This fit the bill.

I enjoyed my stay at the Clovis Days Inn. You cannot find a better hotel in this price range with the same facilities and amenities.

Great stay in Clovis

Posted Jan 4, 2017
Easy to find, outstanding check-in staff, decent breakfast, clean room. A good value for the price. The only negative is the train activity yet you find that anywhere in Clovis! Would stay here again.
