The hotel staff were amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the smoke detector beeped every 30 seconds and we were in a non smoking room.

Rooms are old and not kept clean. Smell mold and have coachroach.

Pros: Comfy bed.
Cons: nothing I can think of.
Location: Beach, restaurants.
Great location to Surfside beach, good restaurants nearby and refreshing pool, comfy bed and friendly staff. Tasty breakfast included. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

For a cheap hotel this was fine. My room was never cleaned despite asking to have it done. The staff was very apologetic. My stay there was just after Hurricane Harvey flooding hit the area. They said they had some staffing issues and we're so booked. All in all the place has a relatively run-down feeling but this is to be expected for a low price hotel. If you want something nicer just pay more money. Pool area was nice and well kept. Flat screen TV in the room plenty of channels. The bed was comfortable and the pillows nice..

The hotel was much older than I expected. When you open your room door, you don't walk out into a hallway, you're outside. It took a long time for the room to cool down, and even then it still felt damp and muggy. Half of the outlets didn't work. There was a roach. The blanket hadn't been washed.

Room was dirty. Found multiple bugs in the bathroom. The deadbolt did not work on the door. Pretty sad for for over $100 a night.

You get what you pay for

Other then the good price the hotel is in need of an update. We had to switched first room because the phone was broke and the room smelled. We found a roach in our second Room. Will not be staying here again. PS from the other negative comments the GM is aware of the issue so I am sorry is not needed what is needed is action to clean up the place.
