Disappointed

You get what you pay for

For a cheap hotel this was fine. My room was never cleaned despite asking to have it done. The staff was very apologetic. My stay there was just after Hurricane Harvey flooding hit the area. They said they had some staffing issues and we're so booked. All in all the place has a relatively run-down feeling but this is to be expected for a low price hotel. If you want something nicer just pay more money. Pool area was nice and well kept. Flat screen TV in the room plenty of channels. The bed was comfortable and the pillows nice..

The hotel was much older than I expected. When you open your room door, you don't walk out into a hallway, you're outside. It took a long time for the room to cool down, and even then it still felt damp and muggy. Half of the outlets didn't work. There was a roach. The blanket hadn't been washed.

Room was dirty. Found multiple bugs in the bathroom. The deadbolt did not work on the door. Pretty sad for for over $100 a night.

Pros: Pet Friendly
Cons: Carpet remove it holds odor cigarette smoke
Location: Location excellent can walk to nearby Restaurants and fast food
Everything was Wonderful,I Love the Spirit and thoughtfulness of the Front Desk Staff Jacob Excellent Customer Service Skills, Great Personality,Award Winning Smile. Keep up the good work. My Room was Clean,My Bed Was Very Comfortable,Excellent Room Setup,Great Location,Superb Morning Breakfast,I Really Like that this Hotel is Pet Friendly. I shall return in March 2018. Thank You

Bad Experience

The room had roaches. The room felt damp and my family developed a cough. When we asked for the room to be cleaned or if we could switch rooms we were told they were full and short staffed. The pool was closed our first day there and then when they did open the water stunk. I only visit Texas once a year to see my older children and did not want to make a big deal of the room because we were only there to sleep, but this time to this hotel was awful.

Roach infested

Horrible horrible! First room both beds had crumbs and what looked like pretzel salt and dog hair all in the sheets. The pillows looked as if the cases were not changed bc they were wrinkled as if slept on. Manager was so long to move us to another room. Went and ate got to new room, laying there watching TV and roach was crawling on my arm under the covers on the bed. I killed it and took it to the front desk. She was very kind and refunded my money and we left.

Do not stay here

The room was not clean. Stains on sheets and bedspread. No toilet paper for two hours. Hair in the shower. Smelled like smoke in a non smoking room. Pool was out of order. We were supposed to get a king and were given two twins. Carpet felt wet and sticky. Would not recommend.
