Nice close to Suntrust Park

Posted Aug 31, 2017
Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful as much as they could be. The breakfast was very good and a lot of choices for adults and children.
Cons: WIFI connection and make sure if someone wants a room for adults and children that they are offered and room with enough beds.
Location: Suntrust Park for Braves Game
The hotel was nice and close to Suntrust Park but the WIFI was terrible and the connection to the TV and all the channels was bad some had sound and some did not. I rented a room for 2 adults and 2 children and was put in a room with a king size bed and a futon. Ask for a roll away bed and never received it so had to put the children on the hard futon to sleep. Then I had to go downstairs to get bedding for the futon.

Something's to consider..

Posted Jul 28, 2017
Staff and cleanliness of room was great. When checking in asked about a first floor room which was okay, however I was not advised it was an adjoining room. Something else worth discussing with customers It made me very uncomfortable. Also the iron was not the best. Possible investing in a better iron would be better for customers.

Awful. In every way.

Dirty. No housekeeping service during my 3 day stay. Shower rod broken. Bed sagged terribly. Asked manager to call me-no call. Breakfast buffet sparse, eggs fake.

Exterior does not represent the interior

Posted Jul 22, 2017
This was our first trip with our two four year olds. We stayed in 3 different hotels in 3 nights as we traveled northern Georgia. This was the most expensive of the 3. The outside is very nice and looks as it should. The inside is typical of an old, not really renovated, hotel. There was some cracked tiled in our bathroom, some gaps in the caulking, and caulking that was black.l/moldy. The air for the entire hotel did not seem to be working, so we had our room air, which is still one of the old units that runs with the tsisty knobs. Most updated hotels have digital thermostats even if they have kept those types of units. Further, the vent grates were broken leaving some jagged plastic venting there in its place. The decor was very dated. On top of all of that, we were on the fourth floor above the place you drive your car under in front of the hotel... For some reason on the roof of that drive through they have two spotlights that point literally right into the room... We had to use pillows to shut the blackout curtains around the sides or it was nearly daylight in the room. The air unit blew right on the queen bed as well, so no matter where you slept on that bed, you were being hit in the face with the air. Overall not what i expected from the name, the price, or the location.

Not ready for company

Posted Jul 20, 2017
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great.
Cons: Hire more help in housekeeping. Have breakfast go to 10am., especially on game night. The game didn't end (rain delays) until 1am.
Location: Because of the stadium the location is good. But next time I will stay at one of the other hotels.
When we walked in at 4pm (3pm check-in) the lobby and restaurant area were filled with people waiting to check-in. I stopped counting at 45 people. Rooms hadn't yet been cleaned. Only one desk clerk on duty. The other left to help clean rooms. When they started to finally check in people, no one had a list of names, they would ask if someone had a queen room booked or a king room, etc. Utter chaos! Most of the people were there to attend a baseball game at SunTrust Field that was starting at 7:30pm. When we were checked in after 5:30pm. we got to our room, cleaned up a bit and started to make the 1 mile or so walk to the stadium. Lots of people still waiting for check-in. We found a giant roach in the bathroom and caught it under the waste basket. I hope it didn't scare the maid. When we were going to sleep I was concerned about finding the bathroom in the dark. You needed to navigate around the coffee table, but no need to worry. The parking lot lights were right outside our window and the drapes didn't wrap around the edges. So, even with all lights in the room out, it was pretty light in the room. All of us who had a miserable check-in, got a note slipped under our door offering us a snack and soft drink. Big deal!

Nice hotel. Clean and with all the basics.

Posted Jul 15, 2017
Nice and clean hotel with all the basics. Many eatery places around the area and a shopping mall. Perfect for those coming to Perfect Game. All fields where games are scheduled are within 30 min. driving time. It is also about 30min. Atlanta. Staff is receptive although no much interaction with them is needed. Once you get your room you are set. I285 is pretty much next to it so you may hear some traffic noice in the background. It did not bother me, but something to consider for those with light sleep. Continental Breakfast included with the room fee. However, a Waffle House is next door.

Pros: Comfortable, clean.
Comfortable beds, quiet. Decent breakfast. Helpful staff. Somewhat difficult to get to (must make a U--turn) unless coming from a certain direction.

A BIG KINK in my plans that I thought I had made

Posted Jun 19, 2017 on Hotels
I've had my reservation since April. Was even called and verified my 2 queen bed reservations the week of my stay. My family was running late to the Braves game so we rushed in to check in so we could park and the lady says, fast and really quiet "We are out of 2 queen beds so we are upgrading you." Well upgrade, alright. I didn't think anything of it. Usually upgrade means BETTER! You do see in our reservations that we have 4 adults. We leave and go to the game. Come back and to the room, we enter to a King size bed and futon for 4 large adults at the SAME PRICE for 2 queen beds. Yes, they didn't even comp this "UPGRADE." We go down to the lobby only to find out that they have OVERBOOKED by SEVERAL rooms for SEVERAL people. The couple in front of me didn't even get a room. Well, they comp'ed their stay to another hotel nearby. But because I received a room (even though it wasn't the room I reserved and wasn't even an upgrade like I was told) I got NOTHING! I was not going to pay the same price for 2 of my party to be uncomfortable on a futon. I canceled my room. Was told it wouldn't charge my credit card. Guess what, the next day, I was charged $189. I might even go into overdraft because of this charge. I'm very upset all away around on this! This is not how you do business!
