“We only stayed for 3 days but it was really nice. Karen and Stuw went out of their way to make us feel really welcome. The secluded location is far enough away from Fenelon Falls to provide some detachment from everything if you want that but close enough to it to get there easily if you don’t. Accommodation was very clean and had just about everything in it that you’d need, especially in the kitchen area. The only thing that perhaps we would have appreciated would have been drapes or blinds……

“We had a lovely time but it didn’t feel like a cottage setting. Neighbours were very close to us. The river was interesting as we watched pontoons go up and down. The firepit was nice and big. Kitchen was good but a microwave would have been welcome to warm up leftovers. If you are looking for a quiet cottage setting, this may not be the place for you. ”

“Simple cottage on a great spot. Lots to do in Minden and Haliburton. Bring a floatie and jump in at the River Walk in the Minden, then step off at your dock!”

“Lovely grounds on the river Cottage needs some TLC Need dishcloths and a potatoe masher. Dishwasher needs to be attached to a wall A hazard unloading dishes Comfy beds Lots of room for a crowd ”

“This was our second time booking a two nights stay at the cottage. Ladies group of 4. Plenty of living and sleeping space! The cottage is clean and has everything you need! We cozied up to the wood fire stove, played games & puzzles, and watched movies! The hot tub has a beautiful view of the lake! Brought our snow shoes and took a walk down the road to take in all of nature's beauty! ”

“The property was generally as descibed. Comfortable. It had a cottage feel. The yard was large. Not suitable for swimming. Fire pit useful. Kayak had small leak. Overall was good rest for us ”

“Everything was awsome from the minute we walked in the door. It is so quiet and peaceful. The cottage was clean and stocked with everything you need and more! All you need to bring is you clothes and food . The bottle of wine that was left for us was a very nice touch. We are definitely coming back here.”

“Clean and cute. Close to the water. Had all the fixings for four.. No outdoor eating area would be my only complaint. Bring chairs for the beach and campfire only Muskoka chairs provided. ”

“Exactly what we were looking for ... a wonderful charming cottage with everything we needed. Lots of space for everyone and the bunkies are great for spreading out. We love the fall and did enjoy a little quieter time of year. All had a great time in the water and we did some fishing ... everybody had a great time. Will make this a regular family gathering !!”
