"Continental breakfast was a bit lacking. Am sure we had a selection of meats and cheese the last time we came. Coffee machine is terrible at breakfast , the one in the bar is great! , luke warm not nice at all. Staff are great, nice people. "

"We enjoyed our one night stay for my husbands birthday. We had a really enjoyable time in the spa and my husband would fully recommend the hot stone back massage by Meg. Our evening meals were beautiful and we enjoyed breakfast too. Bar staff, spa staff and reception staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. "Nice old hotel, I like staying at these grand old hotels when possible! Very welcoming and friendly staff, car park was small but they found me the last spot when I arrived in the evening later than planned. I was hoping to use the electric car chargers but these were occupied by contract guests so arrive early or perhaps arrange with them beforehand if your electric car is nearly out of juice! Very handy feature to have, even better if I'd been able to use it!"
