Very clean and nice staff

Posted Oct 14, 2017
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Communication, for example about the real width of the bay view and using quality alcohol for happy hour and not the second rate stuff
Location: There are coffee shops & restaurants within walking distance but the humidity was smothering during our stay so getting around by foot was challenging
The hotel was very clean and the staff was kind and professional. When we booked a room with a view of the bay we didn’t realize that the view would be just the width of a Juliet balcony door, essentially less than 4 feet wide. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The happy hour at the hotel’s 8th floor panorama restaurant is just okay. They used inexpensive alcohol during happy hour which is disappointing. A waitress asked if my wife wanted “good” alcohol and she of course replied yes. The happy hour drink all of a sudden quadrupled in price. There’s something not so honest about that. They have a great chef. The food was delicious. My wife described the hotel as “boring”. It’s not really a hotel. It’s an apartment building. Most units are condos. The fridge was empty and they didn’t provide any tea, just coffee packets. There was an empty closet in our room with preparations for a stackable laundry set. The pool is nice and there is a amazing view from the restaurant/pool area.

Check In/ Checked out 30mins Later

Posted Oct 6, 2017
Pros: Valet Attendant was brilliant
Cons: Everything
Valet and Concierge team are superb, front desk staff helpful to start with but on check out became very unhelpful. We had checked in and back out again within 30 minutes, and while certain members of staff were very understanding, others were just down right rude. The lobby is nice but a strong smell of air freshener is masking something, once you leave this area the rest of the hotel is in serious need of a refit. Smelly duvets hanging in the lifts thats a new one on me. Hall carpets are terrible with random chunks being replaced. The room doesn't look anything like the photos on Expedia, in fact the whole hotel looks nothing like hotel photos. Don't stay here its cheap for a reason and i was so glad i had the ability to be able to check out and go and stay somewhere else. I pity anyone that has to stay here for their whole vacation

Disappointing

Posted Aug 24, 2017
Hired a room with bay view, the window less than a meter wide. Very old room, carpet and bathroom installations. Clean but old. I was two rooms away from the elevator and I could hear it up and down all night. Very noisy. Wanted to use the gym at 22:00 bit it was closed. Pricey for what it is, be careful with internet photos. Very well located, walking distance to very nice locations. Sorry but not worth a try..

Nice hotel close to the beach and boutique shops.

Pros: Excellent beds and full comfort.
Location: Location was fine for my purposes but I did not have activities nearby to report about.
Super food in the rooftop restaurant. Taxis were slow to respond to this location.

Does not really worth the 4 stars. I would recommend it only if you have something to do in coconut grove.

central coconut grove location with a view

Posted Aug 18, 2017
Condo hotel centrally located in coconut grove. Nice facility well kept. Beautiful pool deck and restaurant. Some rooms have wrap around patio. Parking is the only interesting thing-- there is a $30 a day valet charge. However to the adjacent left there is a lot $12 overnight in and out and to the adjacent right is a covered garage $18 for 24 hours but no in and out privileges.
