Very clean, cute, tidy, and accommodating. Staff was warm, kind, personable, and helpful. Owner sat and talked with us for a half hour.

Very nice

Was a very nice little motel at a good price in Cody- very nice drive through the canyon from Yellowstone Park is a much wilder quieter place than the south or north gates. Happy we came!

Known as the 50 most beautiful miles in the US from Cody to the East Gate of Yellowstone. Then there's the 2 most scenic roads headed to the northeast gate, it's a must see and why you need to stay more than one night!

Pick this place for a great stay

Posted Sep 24, 2015
We were greeted in a genuine welcoming way. The room did not look like a typical motel room. It was very homey feeling. Location great for downtown shops and restaurants.

Every year we do a little more to improve the quality of our rooms while keeping the price reasonable, thank you!

Not worth what they charge

Posted Sep 19, 2015 on Hotels
Our room was small and no place to hang cloths. This location is not worth what they charge. We have been traveling all over The Dakota's Wyoming and Montana and have yet the pay anything near what they charged for similar acomidation.

This downtown property is on average $50-$75 less than what our name brand competition charges 2 doors down. Keep in mind you are approaching a WORLD park. The Dakota's and MT don't compare.

Perfect locatie voor bezoek Yellowstone Park

Posted Sep 16, 2015
Pros: Centrale ligging
Cons: Het aanbieden van een ontbijt
Location: Yellowstone Park slechts o 50 mijl

A Western Rose

This was just a one night stay on our way to Yellowstone. It's a motel, folks! Clean, large room. Close to all the shops and activities in Cody. I would stay there again if I ever get back that way.

Don't get ripped off.

Posted Sep 9, 2015 on Hotels
Too expensive for this kind of a motel. Aprox $100 per night is nothing but a rip off. I would suggest to live within the park as this is too far from the park. The east gate entrance is just an hour but to visit places from that entrance takes another one and a half hour which is a total 2 and half hour drive from this motel.

This independently owned motel is usually $50 less than my name brand competition two doors down, oh and we have higher ratings. Keep in mind you are visiting a WORLD park. Cody is the least expensive gates of that surround Yellowstone.

Nice motel with easy access to downtown.

Posted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is good.
Location: The Buffalo Bill Museum is very interesting and we also enjoyed strolling through town checking out the different shops.
We were on a motorcycle trip and had only planned on staying in Cody for one night, but ended up extending it to two. We were greeted on arrival like we were old friends who had come to visit and that got our "Cody Experience" off to a great start. The rooms are very clean and the motel is located within an easy walk to the "hub" of downtown. They are very biker friendly and provide clean cloths, soap and a hose to bikers needing to wash the road off their bikes. We appreciated having a mini fridge in the room and the complimentary wi fi, as well as being able to park our bike right outside our room.

Parking outside your door provides more safety as well, in my opinion, than some huge parking lot. Located downtown, within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Cody is like a Back to the Future town and is very safe to walk, even at night.

The motel had a nice hometown feel. We drove about a mile or less, and then walked down to the shoot out at Irma's hotel. It was contrived, but cute. We walked down the street a way, but heard music coming from the Irma's hotel bar and came back to it. We had the best night listening to the music.

It's great to be able to walk to the busier LOUDER part of town and be able to walk a few blocks back to the property, where it's QUIET. Our side of Sheridan Ave is where many businesses are located, so once they leave work, it's very quiet and you might even catch a siting of an occasional mule deer!
