A nice change of pace on our family road trip.

Posted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: Cozy, nice change of pace.
Location: The next morning, we hit the Buffalo Bill Museum. Definitely worth the stop!
We stayed here while on a family road trip to the coast. Pulling in at 9:30 pm, we were a bit concerned about late check-in, but the staff was waiting for us with everything ready. Check in was a breeze. Having paid in advance, it was a matter of picking up our keys and getting directions from the main desk to our cabin. The cabins are small, and the air conditioner was right above our heads in the bed, but they were comfortable and we got a good night's sleep.

Hard to find even thought it right next to the Holiday Inn. The front looks like a trading post.(Which it is) Over all it was OK😐

Cabins by Yellowstone West Gate/Cody

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Overall enjoyed the stay. The "buffalo" was a nice touch and was much appreciated by grandson. I did have some problem with wireless internet at that site, it was slow, intermittently available, and the identification was confusing.

Small cabins in downtown Cody

Posted Jul 25, 2015
The cabins were very small and clean. The bedding was very comfortable and the bathroom nicely done. From the picture I expected a grassy area with a picnic table, but we arrived late and had a cabin behind the Comfort Inn surrounded by gravel.

Pros: Also, Billy the Buffalo made me hug him . Reminded me of our cat we missed. Nice touch!
Location: Not much to see in Cody. We have been there before. Too commercial for us as we want real history.
It was a nice stay. Cabin was clean and comfortable. We liked the cabin idea. It was fun.

Small room in a gravel parking lot

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: We had a place to sleep.
Cons: The advertising and descriptions should be more realistic, given the price level. At least travelers could make a more informed decision.
Location: Great little town. We spent a 2nd night on our return trip at another hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the fireworks, chuck-wagon buffet, and the rodeo.
This room was adequate for a late night arrival and a place to sleep. Beyond that, the site felt like a trailer park with pre-fab "cabins" dropped into it.
