Very nice hotel with very some complaints

The hotel was nice and appeared to be either new/recently remodeled. The staff was friendly and quick to check us in and out. We did enjoy or stay and everything was great except for the following:
In the middle of the night, our room was warm and "dry" and we could not get the thermostat to turn down. Since it was the middle of the night, we decided to not make a big fuss of it but the room ended up being so warm and dry, I ended up with a bloody nose and my husband said his sinuses were very dry.
The elevator took FOREVER to and from our floor. Also, our room was two doors down from the elevator but we could still hear it moving up and down the 5 floors all night long. I wanted to turn on a fan, located on the air-conditioner/heater in most hotel rooms, to drown out the noise of the elevator but, there was not a "fan" option available.
Although the pool was open 24/7, each time we went downstairs to get in the hot-tub and relax, there were children in it and the pool having fun and being noisy (as children do). We would have appreciated it if there was a time in the late evening where the pool/hot-tub would have been closed to children so that after a long day of driving, adults could have just relaxed.
The only thing offered to anyone that was not a Gold/Diamond member was a bottle of water. At most Hampton's we would have also received a snack pack as a lower member and a lot of Hampton's offer free late-afternoon warm cookies but, not here.
Bed to firm for us.
