Nice place to stay

Stay was nice. The continental Breakfast needed some improvement. Not very much to offer and things were pre-cooked.

Cheap

Pros: The breakfast was decent
Cons: Overall, did not feel clean.
Location: Nice, central location
The pool was green and the toilets had brown water that did not go away when you flush. We did enjoy the breakfast.

Just the right price, at the right location

Pros: Price, location and staff. It is in a good location but it seems like Coeur D'Alene is growing a bit so the hotel will have to up its game.
Cons: The hotel is looking a little tired but staff was good, overall a good short stay

Go somewhere else

Front desk staff very unfriendly. Did not inform us about the Continental breakfast, did not tell us about wifi. Room window was stuck open when we got in the room. Couldn't close it had to make to close by lifting it and maneuvering it. Stain in the carpet at the door. Room smelt maybe that's why they had the window open. Way overpriced for what we got! Lots of highway noise and party people coming in the middle of the night .

Good beds and pillows, but the room keys were bad

Pros: bed, pillow, micro wave, fridge, pool, hot tub, sauna, staff
Cons: the room keys
Location: 2.5 miles from the Coeur d'alene resort. Could walk to restaurants. Uber picked us up in 4 minutes.
Good beds and pillows, but the room keys were awful. 5 out 0f 6 times we had to go back to the lobby and get new keys. Finally they cleaned the lock.

Nice Hotel very noisy. Bathroom in need of upgrade

The Highway noise has gotten worse. The bathroom needs to be up graded it was clean but very worn. Every time I had to got out to my car I was assaulted by people smoking and the security door being held open with a rock. I didn't feel very safe.

Quaint, comfortable and very affordable....

Great location, staff and amenities.Very decent hot breakfast. My only complaint was the archaic television set and terrible cable / satellite TV. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staff very responsive to requests. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Close to where we were, but ....

Pros: I like the location and that the exercise room was open 24 hrs.
Cons: A good remodel of your card readers and updating the carpets would be a great start. Also, check on the house cleaners (maid people).
Location: We were in Coeur d'Alene, ID The lake is nearby and some parks.
This hotel really needs upgrading. Not as nice as some other Shilo Inn Hotels. The card key readers really need updating. Took at least 5 minutes or longer to get our room open...every time! Had the card re-keyed twice. We stayed 4 nights. The first two room cleans were not CLEAN. They made the bed and that was about it. No new towels and the tub was not wiped down. The last two were great! Two different house cleaners. Carpet needs updating as well. Kind of old and dirty looking. The Continental breakfast wasn't much. I won't recommend this hotel until its updated.
