Pleasant stay
Courteous staff makes the stay more comfortable and pleasant. Buffet spread is good and tastes quite authentic. Location is another big plus as it's just at the heart of the city and well connected.

I booked 391 square feet room by paying 10k and they game me the 270 sq room. I literally asked the staff. If this is 400 sq feet show me the 270 one. And yhey took me and both looked exactly same. The guy argued no. My room number was 225 and i can challnege that it was not 390 sq feet room. And for a 391 sq feet toom the bathroom was 5x8 or so. Front desk staff were like air india staff. Tjey ruined that Taj name. The manager was kind after i check out to off3r an upgrade. By the time i booked my next 4 fays in Radisson blu. The best so far in coimbatore. Bathroom has bath tub. The one and only hotel with bathtubs in coimbatore lol. If Usa i would have bougnt a measuring tape and measured the room and sued vivanta of cheating me with room size

Pleasant stay at Vivanta
Had a 17 days stay at the Vivanta, overall a pleasant stay, the staff was very attentive to the customer needs, 5 out of 5 for cleanliness and location of the hotel . Ramesh from the housekeeping was very dedicated and well behaved Few points of improvement 1, Rooms felt very small as compared to other hotels i have stayed before 2. Lack of communication caused me some inconvenience, which i believe the management can take care off 3. Buffet was good and with great spread, just a suggestion, it would be good if the chef can add couple of different dish every day or it becomes very repetitive and boring especially for long stays

The staff are very courteous and helpful. Loved the spa services - the best massage I’ve ever had in a long time but the ambience could’ve been better. Food was good but too pricey. It was also easy to hire a car service at the hotel. The views from my room were beautiful and the room was quite spacious.

Nice location. Excellent service. Bit aged hotel. Rooms are comfortable. Pool ,Fittness and Spa are good. Spa bit expensive for Coimbatore. Food at coffee shop was good. The second floor pool side restaurant needs to revamped. Food very average. Bearer’s presentation and service was poor. Furniture fit to be changed. Totally this restaurant does not fit into Taj or Vivanta category.

Excellent stay at Vivanta
Our stay at Vivanta was true to the great Taj hospitality and service experience. We felt pampered by the warmth and service from all the staff right from the entrance to the rooms and in all the restaurants. The reception staff was always friendly and ready to help with any query. The staff in even the buffet breakfast were so attentive and offering to bring your choice of food to the table. The breakfast buffet has an amazing and tasty spread suitable for all and plentiful live counters for hot food. Would recommend the hotel for anyone wanting the best service and easy connection to places of interest in and around Coimbatore.

I have stayed many times at the Taj Vivanta CBE in the past and have always been very satisfied with the service and cuisine. However this time was different. The staff though polite, seems less experienced, the food though tasty is much more limited especially in South Indian dishes.The room "electricals" like plug points are not designed for US plugs and plug adapters were hard to find. My overall sense was one of disappointment given how much I had enjoyed ny previous stays.

Memorable Stay!
It was a great experience from the time I checked in to the time I checked out. They have so many fresh flowers in the lobby the fragrance is very inviting. They upgraded my stay Helped me find right transportation to where I needed to go. Staff are cordial and make sure your stay is comfortable. Breakfast is authentic Indian food and is very tasty.

Great hotel with friendly staff
I stayed at this hotel for more than two weeks and I can only characterize my stay as extremely enjoyable. Mr. Ganesan and Mr. Ansari at the front desk were very helpful during check-in and made sure I was comfortable during my entire stay. The room was clean, well furnished and quiet. I was a frequent visitor to the gym and found the staff friendly and eager to help. The other facilities at the hotel - swimming pool and restaurants - are quite good as well. The hotel is in a very nice location with many restaurants within walking distance. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Coimbatore ... I know that I'll be staying at the Vivanta.
