Great clean hotel

Posted Oct 22, 2016
Pros: Clean room and location
Very clean hotel and very nice rooms. The hotel is located about 1 mile away from the city center which makes it easy for anyone who likes to go out for a walk. Breakfast was great as well with lots of varieties.

Pros: Great location, good restaurants nearby, good service, nice breakfast, parking garage, swimming pool and tennis court.
Cons: Bathrooms could be renovated, but they are still working fine.
Location: Visit the university, conimbriga (a short drive away) and the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha across the river.
Had a room with a nice view to the river. The building is a little old, but the hotel is still overall in good shape. Had a very pleasant stay.

The room was dusty and they had to send someone to re clean. We had dinner at the restaurant I was served a Ceaser salad in a small plate with shredded letters not fresh, egg mayo and 4 croutons for 12 Euros!!!

Clean, big hotel on city centre outskirts.

Posted Sep 11, 2016
Pros: Cleanliness, facilities, breakfast.
Cons: Location & wifi connection in rooms
Location: Coimbra Uni - Biblioteca Joanina, Palace, Cathedral and Old Town.
The hotel is not in the historic centre, so it's a 15mins walk up to the tourist attractions of Coimbra. The hotel is large, modern and clean. Staff are great, breakfast is good, rooms are very clean and it is a slick operation! The only downside is the location and wifi connection in rooms - the walk to the historic centre is not particularly pleasant. Free parking and pool a bonus.

Ok location and amenities. But the Internet was very slow. Is walkable to the historical centre and has a good parking area.

One of the best hotels in Coimbra

Posted Aug 9, 2016
The hotel was outstanding. The parking was easy to get to from the elevator inside the hotel. The hotel also had a pool with a deep end and shallow end and there was not a lot of people there. The breakfast was really good and there was also a bar nearby. In the bar we had tea and coffee which was fantastic. It only took 15 minutes by walking to get to the famous Coimbra university from the hotel. Coimbra is an interesting city with many historic places and good museums. At night we listened to the fado music and saw folkloric fest in the theater square.
