Dated hotel

Cons: Change all fittings and paint it.
Arrived on the first day expecting a queen bed but it was two single beds. They did upgrade me to a deluxe room the next day though. As clean as the hotel was it was really run down, stuck in the 80's. Fitting were so old and some rust, the bed was stiff. Considering the amount that I paid, and that it was a "four star hotel" I would have expected a lot more.

Perfect Location

I had 4 rooms booked with 8 persons and everyone enjoyed their stay. Comfortable to walk around outside hotel in the evening. Perfect location for monuments and sightseeing. We had the dinner buffet and everyone very complimentary on the food and the choices. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Beds were comfortable.

Good Location Downtown

Pros: Location.
Cons: The quality of breakfast and cuoutsy to clients. Not over charging.
Location: Every tourist spot was near by.
Very gloomy atmosphere. The staff was uncooperative. For bathing very limited hot water. In fact on the last day of our stay NO HOT WATER. Keep on giving excused. The breakfast was not good as it had very limited menu.

Whenever in Bombay

Pros: The location
Cons: They can use de humdefiers from time time to absorb Bombay humidity
Location: There is all kinds of activities,the prince of Wales jahengir art gallery and other commercial art galleries,restaurants and entertainment.
Whenever in Mumbai I stay at this hotel,it is comfortable ,well located Pleasant and not posh.

Hotel looks appealing from outside with a pleasing lobby. Rooms were also quite nice. At breakfast, there was no self serving tea or coffee station, rather disappointing.

Pros: Location in coloba, clean hotel with polite staff
Cons: Rather pricy , booked thru Expedia, your reservation dept. could not beat or even match the price. Very puzzling, first such hotel I have come acros

Great location, friendly staff.

We wanted a hotel for a few days on our way home to the uk from Goa. Centrally located with easy access to local tourist spots such as Taj Hotel, gateway to India, Victoria station and Leopold Cafe. The hotel is located in a predominantly Moslem neighbourhood and, as a result, there are few local bars. Hotel staff very friendly and, after looking after our bags all day after check out, permitted us to shower in the health club before going to the airport.

Building very old and needs update!!! URGENT!!

The building is very old. The bathrooms are the tubs are crack and need an urgent repair or change. the slow and old elevators. Not well located .... in the middle of nowhere. The staff is what makes the stay enjoyable. All the staff are always very attentive and helpful, thanks to all the staff !!

Exceptional restaurant staff and location!

Reception staff and doorman are warm and welcoming and I'd like to give a special mention to the restaurant staff!! Exceptional service - coffee refills, table clearing etc. Location is perfect too (within walking distance of Gateway to India and Colaba Causeway). The room is tidy but a bit on the small side.

Would avoid

Not a very nice hotel, decor is dated and facilities are extremely basic. Breakfast was a disaster as they had no room for us so sat us with hotel employees. Whilst trying to eat breakfast the Restaurant Manager decides to have an argument with his staff. We were completely forgotten about and didn't even get any service. Restaurant cannot cope with service as it's only small. Pool area is small but clean. Staff that greet you when entering and leaving are extremely friendly and an asset to the hotel. Reception staff were not really bothered with us, did not even ask if we had a nice stay and just wanted paying for two drinks. Bed room - well bathroom dated and grubby. Bed sheets were stained and not changed in the two nights we stayed. Would have kicked up a fuss but was extremely tired and was looking forward to getting home.
